You asked for it, and we listened. The past few weeks, Wego affiliate team have been working to rush out new interactive search boxes for you our valued affiliate.

We are pleased to announce the following search boxes to be ready for deployment.

1 – Wego Travel Deals Box

How it works: The deals module lists the top 10 travel deals from Wego. For the results to be relevant, results are displayed via your web audience geography. Therefore users from Singapore will see SG travel deals while users from Australia will only see AU deals.

2 – Individual Search Boxes (Hotels and Flights Only Search Boxes)

How it works: If you are looking for a single vertical offering (hotels or flights) to be placed on a section of your website, this is the tool for you. Now you can place hotels or flights only search boxes on your website.

All these new creatives are live and can be grabbed from the affiliate dashboard (affiliates.wego.com). Simply login, click on interactive search boxes, scroll and you will be able to see the new travel deals and individual search boxes.

Our smart developers built a very useful CNY travel tool which gives travellers a quick overview of the prices of flights and hotels to popular destinations – that are still available during this festive period. While many Singaporeans and Malaysians have already planned and booked their travel packages way in advance for this festive holiday, busy executives and travel procrastinators will welcome this new travel tool as it could be their way out this CNY break.

These search results are based on ticket prices and hotel room rates published on dozens of online airline, hotel and travel agency websites, and are updated periodically. The Wall Street Journal recently came up with an article about Bezurk, titled “Plane and Simple – A more convenient way to book flights“.  Jeremy Wagstaff, the author, tried the Bezurk flight search and came up with some interesting observations. He commended how Bezurk delivers data from about 90 travel websites using a whole range of technology, and comes up with relevant results for users in no time. We recently partnered with Amadeus to implement their new Meta Pricer product as an extension to our exiting flights search engine. Meta Pricer is based on the next generation Amadeus Web Services Interface and is designed to help travel search companies like us, efficiently and cost-effectively retrieve accurate information on flight availability and prices from airline partners.  If you have 30 seconds to kill you can watch the Amadeus Meta Pricer corporate video here

We announced today our marketing partnership with Qatar Airways. Under the agreement, Qatar Airways will promote its fares on Bezurk.com’s flights search engine and deals channel. 

We are very excited to be working with Qatar Airways as they have recently made major enhancements to their booking engine which allows e-ticketing from within Asia and  access to their best available fares. Qatar ’s investment in their new booking system and consumer facing website certainly puts them in a great position  to stamp their mark on the online travel market place and having Peter Pohlschmidt working in their E-commerce team is another plus. Peter is a seasoned veteran in the online marketing industry having worked at both Opodo in Europe and Zuji in Asia.
