Dubai residents can now unlock free hotel nights, room discounts and dining credits worth more than Dh3,000 simply for bringing family and friends to visit.
The scheme runs from 20 July to 31 October 2026. Register your guests before they arrive in Dubai, and you’ll receive a benefits package once their visit is verified.
Nominations must be submitted by 30 September 2026, even though guests can still arrive as late as 31 October 2026 to qualify.
What is A Dubai Invite and who can take part?
A Dubai Invite rewards UAE residents and citizens for inviting overseas family and friends to experience the city, unlocking hotel, dining and attraction perks once the guest’s arrival is confirmed.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Resident status | You must be a UAE citizen or resident aged 18 or older with a valid Emirates ID. |
| Guest eligibility | Your nominated guest must be a non-UAE resident travelling on a valid tourist visa or eligible for visa on arrival. |
| Arrival window | Guests must arrive in Dubai between 20 July and 31 October 2026, by air, sea or road. |
| Reward cap | Each resident can receive a maximum of three benefits packages during the campaign. |
| One nomination per guest | A visitor can only be registered once across the entire programme, even if multiple residents try to nominate them. |
If your guest is flying in, help them book flights to Dubai that land within the campaign window so the nomination qualifies.
How to nominate your guests and claim your rewards
Nominating a guest takes three steps, and DET verifies their arrival automatically once they land. You don’t need to notify DET yourself — the system checks entry records against your nomination.
According to Gulf News, reward emails are sent within 72 hours of a guest’s verified arrival, with rewards issued from August 2026 onward. Benefits are valid for use until 31 December 2026, unless the offer states otherwise.
Remember to submit your nomination before the 30 September 2026 cut-off — after that date, new nominations will no longer be accepted, even though guests can still arrive through 31 October.
The hotel offers you can unlock
Hotel stays are the centrepiece of A Dubai Invite, with discounts, free nights and credit-back deals across several Dubai properties. Offers are subject to availability and may change during the campaign, per Khaleej Times.
- Melia Desert Palm: 45% off rooms, suites and villas, plus a Dh100 spa credit per person and a Dh100 food-and-beverage credit per stay.
- ME Dubai by Meliá: 35% off the best available rate with a complimentary room upgrade, children under 12 stay free, and 35% off all-day dining, in-room dining, spa and laundry.
- Destination Mina Seyahi (Le Méridien, W Dubai and The Westin): Guests get credit back matching whatever they spend on their room, to use on restaurants and spa experiences during the stay.
- IHG Hotels & Resorts: Pay for two nights and get a third free at participating properties, plus up to 30% off at selected restaurants.
If your guest wants to compare options beyond the participating properties, they can browse hotels in Dubai for their stay dates.
Other perks and the key dates to remember
Hotels aren’t the only reward on offer. A Dubai Invite packages also include attraction tickets, dining deals and transport discounts, according to What’s On Dubai.
- Attractions: A free ticket to Aquaventure Waterpark, a free day at IMG Worlds of Adventure, and 50% off Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark.
- Dining: Buy-one-get-one-free deals at restaurants including Papas, The 305, Asia Asia and Lock, Stock & Barrel.
- Transport: 20% off Careem rides and Hala taxis booked through Careem, plus extra perks for Careem Plus members.
Keep these dates in mind before you nominate anyone. Missing a deadline means your guest’s visit won’t qualify for rewards.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to tell DET when my guest arrives?
No. DET verifies arrivals automatically through government entry records once you’ve submitted the nomination form.
Can I nominate more than five guests?
Yes. The form accepts five nominations per submission, so simply submit another entry for additional visitors.
Is there a deadline to submit a nomination?
Yes. New nominations must be submitted by 30 September 2026. Guests already nominated by that date can still arrive up to 31 October 2026 to qualify.
Does the programme cover my guest’s flights or visa?
No. Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights, visa and accommodation — A Dubai Invite only provides the reward package after arrival.
