A separate force-majeure clause covers events such as war, hostilities and government action. It says no involuntary refund applies; the cancelled value becomes credit for later Air Arabia travel when operations return to normal, subject to availability. Check your booking and applicable law.

How to Get a Refund from Air Arabia Abu Dhabi
If you booked directly with Air Arabia
Open Manage Booking and record the options offered for the cancelled flight. Do not cancel the booking voluntarily before Air Arabia confirms how it will treat the disruption, because normal fare rules may then apply.
Air Arabia’s normal UAE cancellation fees are charged per passenger and per sector, and the airline says fees can change:
- Basic fare: no cash refund for a voluntary cancellation. When cancellation for credit is permitted, Air Arabia deducts at least AED 200 and holds the balance as passenger credit.
- Value fare: cancellation is allowed up to 24 hours before departure. The published fee is AED 100 for credit or AED 300 for a refund to the original payment method.
- Ultimate fare: cancellation is allowed up to eight hours before departure. Credit has no cancellation fee, while a refund to the original payment method has a published AED 200 fee.
These are voluntary-cancellation rules. An airline cancellation may be handled differently under Air Arabia’s conditions of carriage, a notice attached to your booking and applicable passenger-welfare rules.
