Hubs, network and route map
The Air Arabia group flies over 200 routes out of six operating hubs. Those are Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, Casablanca in Morocco through Air Arabia Maroc, Alexandria in Egypt through Air Arabia Egypt, and Karachi in Pakistan through Fly Jinnah.
Fly Jinnah is a joint venture with Pakistan’s Lakson Group rather than an Air Arabia subsidiary, and it flies under its own brand.
Sharjah is the group’s main base and carries its largest network, spanning South Asia, the Gulf, the Levant and East Africa. As of mid-2026 it also reaches 10 European points, including Rome and Milan alongside the new London route.
Air Arabia Egypt is based at Borg El Arab International in Alexandria and runs a separate, smaller network into the Middle East and Europe. Air Arabia Maroc feeds domestic and regional routes into its home market rather than long-haul.
Fleet and aircraft
Air Arabia operated 90 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft in the first quarter of 2026, all single-aisle narrowbodies. That figure covers the whole group across its six hubs rather than the Sharjah mainline alone.
The airline placed a firm order with Airbus for 120 A320neo-family jets at the November 2019 Dubai Airshow, split between 73 A320neo, 27 A321neo and 20 A321XLR.
Deliveries of the newer variants are ongoing, including the longer-range A321neo LR now flying the Sharjah to London Gatwick route. The A321XLR is expected from 2027 and should open up further long, thin routes into Europe.
Keeping the fleet to one Airbus family across the group simplifies maintenance, spares and crew training. It is one reason the airline can run such thin schedules profitably on routes like Aleppo and Amman.
Cabins and onboard product
Air Arabia runs a single economy cabin, and there is no business class on any Air Arabia route. What is included depends on the fare bundle rather than a cabin class.
- Basic: seat only on most routes, with checked baggage, meals and seat selection charged separately.
- Value: adds a checked allowance, a free standard seat from row 8 and a sandwich with a drink.
- Ultimate: adds a larger checked allowance, a hot meal, any seat from row 2, more change flexibility and priority check-in at selected airports.
Bundle contents vary by route. On Cairo services, for example, Basic already includes a checked allowance and a standard meal.
Meals, drinks and extra-legroom seats are sold onboard or added at checkout.
Baggage allowance and check-in
Every passenger gets a free cabin bag and a free personal item, whichever fare bundle they book.
- Cabin bag: 7kg, capped at 55 x 40 x 20cm.
- Personal item: 3kg, capped at 25 x 33 x 20cm.
- Combined cabin limit: 10kg across both pieces.
- Checked baggage: bundled into Value and Ultimate fares.
Basic-fare passengers on most routes need to buy a checked allowance online before departure to avoid steeper counter rates at the airport.

- 30kg or 40kg: can be split across up to two bags.
- Per-piece limits: 32kg maximum weight, and 158cm for length plus width plus height combined.
Loyalty programme
AirRewards is Air Arabia’s points scheme, paying up to 10% of spending back as points. The rate is tiered, with flights and baggage earning around 5% while seats, meals and other extras earn the full 10%.
Points are redeemable for flights, meals and baggage at a fixed rate of 100 points to 1 US dollar, with no blackout dates.
Partner earning runs on fixed rates set by each partner rather than a percentage of spend. Points can be pooled across a family account or converted into Etihad Guest miles.
