Air India Bahrain flights: current status
Air India does not appear in Bahrain International Airport’s airline listing. The carriers operating there today are Gulf Air, Air India Express, IndiGo, Emirates, Etihad, flydubai, Air Arabia, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, Qatar Airways, Kuwait Airways and EgyptAir.
Air India has said it would restore most of the international flying it cut over the summer, but Bahrain is not back in its network and no date has been announced for it. Treat any Bahrain itinerary on mainline Air India as unconfirmed until the airline says otherwise.
How to reach Bahrain from India now
Bahrain International Airport’s own departure board lists services to ten Indian cities: Bangalore, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mangalore, Mumbai and Trivandrum. Three carriers cover them.
