Armenia Visa-Free Entry for GCC Residents Ends July 1 — Here’s Why You Should Book Now

Armenia’s temporary visa-free entry program for eligible GCC residents expires on 1 July 2026, giving you less than two months to visit one of the most underrated destinations within easy reach of the Gulf.

The program has been running since January 2026, but there’s no guarantee it will be extended.

Who’s Eligible and What You Need

The visa exemption applies to nationals of 113 countries who hold a valid residence permit issued by any GCC country: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, or Oman.

This means if you’re an Indian, Filipino, Egyptian, Pakistani, or Jordanian national living and working in the Gulf, you qualify.

Here’s what you need to enter:

A physical residency card or residency sticker in your passport — digital copies are not accepted
At least six months’ validity remaining on the residence permit from your date of entry into Armenia
The permit must display the document title, your name, nationality, date of birth, and validity dates in Latin characters
