Bosnia and Herzegovina has recently decided to waive the visa requirement for Saudi Arabian citizens visiting the country from 1 June 2024 to 30 September 2024, Wego reports.

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), in its 35th regular session held on 11 January 2024, amended regulations affecting Saudi nationals’ entry into the country.

During the summer season, from 1 June 2024 to 30 September 2024, Saudi nationals with ordinary passports will not need a visa for entry, stay, transit, or exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina for up to 30 days.

This scheme is not new; a similar waiver was in place from July to October 2023. These decisions aim to promote tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina, boost the country’s economy during vacation periods, and strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
