India to Dubai business class, city by city
A one-way business class ticket from India to Dubai costs between $629 and $875 on a nonstop flight, depending on which city you fly from. Those numbers come from live fares on Wego, sampled 7 August 2026.
We searched one-way business class fares for a single adult from the six Indian cities with the most Dubai traffic, all for the same 20 September 2026 departure. The spread is wide, and it does not track distance.
| From | Cheapest nonstop fare | Airline | Seat type | Flight time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mumbai | $629 | IndiGo | Recliner | 3h 00m |
| Hyderabad | $642 | flydubai | Lie-flat on some aircraft | 3h 55m |
| Delhi | $647 | IndiGo | Recliner | 3h 40m |
| Kochi | $829 | Emirates | Lie-flat | 3h 50m |
| Chennai | $859 | Emirates | Lie-flat | 4h 00m |
| Bengaluru | $875 | Emirates | Lie-flat | 3h 45m |

Mumbai and Bengaluru are almost the same distance from Dubai in flying time, three hours against three hours forty-five. The Mumbai fare is $246 cheaper.
The gap is not about distance. It is about whether a low-cost carrier sells a business cabin out of your city. Check your specific departure airport before assuming the price you see in one city applies to another.
Is a connecting flight actually cheaper?
Travellers hunting a lower fare often look at one-stop routings through the Gulf or Colombo. On this corridor, that logic works in some cities and fails in others.
| City | Nonstop fare | Cheapest one-stop fare | Extra travel time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delhi | $647 | $675 (Saudia, via Jeddah) | +5h 55m, costs $28 more |
| Mumbai | $629 | $590 | +3h 50m, saves $39 |
| Hyderabad | $642 | $595 | +5h 45m, saves $47 |
| Kochi | $829 | $551 | +5h 05m, saves $278 |
| Chennai | $859 | $678 (SriLankan, via Colombo) | +21h 55m, saves $181 |
| Bengaluru | $875 | $547 | +2h 55m, saves $328 |

From Delhi, the connection actually costs more than the nonstop, and adds nearly six hours. From Mumbai and Hyderabad, a stop saves a modest $39 to $47 for four to six extra hours.
The real discount shows up from Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi, where a one-stop routing undercuts the nonstop Emirates fare by $181 to $328 — though the Chennai connection via Colombo takes almost 22 hours longer.
If you’re in a tier-one city (Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad), skip the connection. If you’re flying from Bengaluru, Chennai or Kochi, weigh the real savings against a much longer day.
What you actually get in the cabin
The fare alone doesn’t tell you which seat you’re buying. Here’s what each cabin actually is.
| Airline | Seat type | Flies from | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| IndiGo Stretch | Recliner, does not fold flat | Delhi, Mumbai | Extra legroom, priority check-in, a hot meal and a larger bag allowance. Reached the Dubai route in 2025. The cheapest way to fly business on this corridor, and the reason IndiGo undercuts Emirates by $332 and up. |
| flydubai Business | Lie-flat on newer aircraft, recliner-style on older ones | Hyderabad | flydubai flies both older 737-800s and newer 737 MAX jets with different business seats. The MAX cabin is a true lie-flat bed; the older aircraft has a recliner. Check the aircraft type shown at booking. |
| Emirates Business | Lie-flat | All six cities | Includes chauffeur transfers and lounge access at Dubai International. On a flight this short, you’re mostly paying for the ground experience and any connection onward from Dubai. |
The cheapest and priciest months to fly
We ran the same nonstop business class search from Delhi, India’s largest market on this route, across seven departure dates spanning the next six months.
The cheap end of the market swings hard, from $618 in late August to $870 in November, January and February, a difference driven mostly by whether IndiGo has a Stretch fare on sale rather than by the season itself.
At roughly ₹95.2 to the US dollar as of 6 August 2026, that $618 floor works out to about ₹58,800 one-way, and the $870 high to about ₹82,800.
How to bring the price down
- Check the low-cost business cabins first. From Delhi and Mumbai that means IndiGo Stretch; from Hyderabad, flydubai. Both are easy to miss if you only look at full-service carriers.
- Consider a nearby departure city. Flying from Bengaluru costs $875 one-way in our sample; the same cabin from Mumbai costs $629.
- Skip the connection from Delhi, Mumbai or Hyderabad. A one-stop routing costs about the same or more and adds hours in these three cities.
- Weigh the connection from Bengaluru, Chennai or Kochi. A one-stop fare can be hundreds of dollars cheaper here, if you don’t mind a longer day.
- Decide if you need the bed. On a three-to-four-hour daytime flight, a recliner is a reasonable trade-off. On an overnight departure, a lie-flat seat is worth more.
- Set a price alert on Wego rather than checking manually. Premium cabin inventory on this corridor moves faster than economy.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest business class ticket from India to Dubai?
$629 one-way from Mumbai on IndiGo. That’s for a 20 September 2026 departure searched on 7 August 2026. Delhi was $647 and Hyderabad $642. Fares change daily.
Does IndiGo have a real business class to Dubai?
Yes, but it’s a recliner, not a lie-flat bed. IndiGo Stretch operates on Delhi to Dubai and Mumbai to Dubai. The fare includes priority check-in, seat selection and a meal, in a wide recliner seat that does not fold flat.
Which airline has the cheapest lie-flat business class to Dubai from India?
flydubai, from Hyderabad, on the right aircraft. Its newer 737 MAX business cabin is lie-flat and priced at $642 in our sample, against $866 on Emirates from the same city. flydubai also flies older aircraft with a recliner-style seat, so check which plane is assigned before booking.
Is business class cheaper if I take a connecting flight?
It depends on your city. From Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad, a connection saves little or nothing. From Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi, a one-stop routing can be $181 to $328 cheaper than the nonstop Emirates fare, at the cost of several extra hours.
When is business class to Dubai cheapest?
Late August, in our Delhi sample. The floor was $618 then, against $870 in November, January and February. The main driver is whether IndiGo has Stretch seats on sale for your date, not the season itself.
Is Emirates the only airline flying business class from Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi?
It was the only nonstop business fare we found in our search. Other airlines fly these routes, but Emirates had the cheapest confirmed nonstop business cabin from all three cities on our sample date. Check your own dates, since this can change.
