Is Hajj 2027 registration open right now?
The short answer is not on Nusuk yet.
The official Nusuk Hajj platform still shows only Hajj 1447 AH (2026) packages, and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has not yet announced an opening date for the 1448 AH season.
The platform does allow you to create an account and subscribe to its newsletter, but creating an account does not reserve a Hajj place or guarantee a package.
Some national Hajj authorities have moved faster:
- Morocco ran its electronic registration for Hajj 1448 from 8 to 19 December 2025 through the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, with a lottery to follow.
- Indonesia operates rolling registration through the Ministry of Religious Affairs and BPKH — you can register at any time, but the current national waiting list runs decades long.
- Pakistan, Malaysia, India and Bangladesh each manage their own national quotas through government Hajj committees. Their 2027 government scheme dates are usually announced in late 2026 or early 2027.
When is Hajj 2027 registration expected to open?
Based on last year’s calendar, the main Nusuk registration window is expected to open between October and December 2026, with package booking and payment likely opening around February 2027.
That estimate is anchored to how the 2026 cycle unfolded.
According to guidance from Saudi authorities, Nusuk’s 1447 AH account registration opened on 7 October 2025, and the booking and payment window opened on 1 February 2026.
Expect a similar two-stage flow for 1448 AH:
- Stage 1 — account registration: create a Nusuk Hajj profile, upload passport details and select preferred package categories. Expected late 2026.
- Stage 2 — booking and payment: the Ministry confirms availability, you pick a specific package and pay. Expected early 2027.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah typically announces opening dates through the Ministry website and the Nusuk newsletter.
Watch those channels rather than third-party sites.
What you can do now to prepare
Even though you cannot yet book a 2027 package on Nusuk, there are a few useful steps you can take in the meantime.
Create your Nusuk account in advance. Setting up a Nusuk Hajj profile now means you can complete a booking faster when the 1448 AH window opens, and you’ll receive newsletter alerts about the opening date.
Check that your passport has at least eight months’ validity beyond your planned travel date, since Saudi Arabia requires a minimum of six months for entry and most Hajj operators add a buffer on top of that.
Get your required vaccinations in order. Saudi Arabia mandates a quadrivalent meningococcal (ACWY) vaccine for all Hajj pilgrims, per the Saudi Ministry of Health Hajj guidelines. Other vaccines may be added closer to the season.
Start watching prices for flights to Jeddah and flights to Madinah. Most package operators include flights, but if you’re booking a flights-only Hajj or pairing it with private accommodation, fares to both cities tend to climb sharply in the final 90 days before Hajj.
Look at hotels in Makkah and hotels in Madinah early. The closest Haram-view properties sell out 6 to 9 months out.
Finally, decide your route to the Holy Cities. Saudia operates the largest direct network to both Jeddah (JED) and Madinah (MED), but Gulf carriers and South Asian airlines add significant seasonal Hajj capacity once the dates are confirmed.

No — register through your national Hajj scheme. Nusuk only serves pilgrims from Muslim-minority countries; large Muslim-majority countries manage their own quotas through government Hajj committees with their own waiting lists.
