Some may understandably view Manila as merely a stepping stone to more rural destinations the Philippines is famed for. However, those who are privy to the city’s secrets will readily attest to an array of hidden sanctuaries offering respite from the hustle and bustle of the region’s great metropolises.

After closing its borders to international travellers for nearly two years, the Philippines currently welcomes international arrivals. This means Saudi residents can now visit the Philippines’ capital city of Manila for both leisure and other purposes. Let’s familiarize ourselves with the latest travel guidelines and restrictions on travelling from Riyadh to Manila.

Riyadh to the Philippines requirements

The latest travel and entry requirements to the Philippines are as follows.

Required documents

Earlier the Philippine government had announced that One Health Pass no longer applies in lieu of the eArrival card. However, as of now, the authorities have now ruled out the requirement to fill out the eArrival card before boarding a flight to the Philippines as a “scan-and-go” system will instead be implemented. However, the government would set up special lanes in the country’s gateways for those who want to comply with the eArrival card. Please do refer to our eArrival Card article below for the latest development.
