Find your Express@DEL gate
Checking a bag?
Delhi Airport switched on Express@DEL on 17 September 2026, a dedicated hand-baggage lane at all three terminals. It replaces the check-in counter, not security, so keep the usual buffer for screening.

Express@DEL vs DigiYatra vs Fast Track Immigration
Skips the check-in counter at the terminal door, for hand baggage or no baggage. One gate per terminal, no membership, no fee. Security and immigration still happen as normal once you’re inside.
Scans your face at entry and security so you don’t have to show your ID or boarding pass each time. For domestic passengers with an Aadhaar based ID, at all 3 terminals.
A free immigration lane, not a terminal entry lane. Open to Indian nationals and OCI card holders with at least 6 months left on their passport. Terminal 3 only.
Questions
What is Express@DEL?
It’s Delhi Airport’s dedicated entry lane for passengers carrying hand baggage only or no baggage at all, live at all three terminals from 17 September 2026.
Which gate do I use?
Terminal 1 uses Gate 5, Terminal 2 uses Gate 1, and Terminal 3 uses Gate 2. Check your boarding pass for your terminal before you leave home.
What if I’m checking a bag?
Express@DEL isn’t for you. Use your terminal’s regular entry and check-in counter, then continue to security as usual.
Does it skip security or immigration too?
No. It’s an entry gate only. You still clear the normal security check, and on international flights the usual immigration check, once inside.
Do the usual cabin baggage rules still apply?
Yes. Liquids, gels and aerosols are capped at 100 ml each and 1,000 ml in total, and items such as scissors and pocket knives stay banned from the cabin.

How this checker was built
- Gate numbers and the entry windows come directly from Delhi Airport’s own announcement and website. The airport has not published separate operating hours for the Express@DEL lanes themselves.
- Terminal 3 serves both domestic and international departures, so its entry window and ID requirement depend on the flight, not the terminal alone.
- DigiYatra and Fast Track Immigration are separate systems run by the airport and are not covered by the eligibility checker above; they are listed for comparison only.
