Sheikh Zayed Road is closed to cars on both mornings, so check the RTA’s road closure and public transport updates in the week before. Bibs for the 2025 Run and Ride were collected at the Zabeel Park fitness village.
What the flight costs, by city
Each fare here is for nonstop flights on these dates. Landing on Friday gives you Saturday to settle in before the 6:30am Sunday start, and a Monday flight home.
Where to stay
Staying near Dubai Mall puts you close to where the 2025 5 km route finished; the 2026 finish lines are not announced yet. The Deira hotels start from $40 a night, well below the Dubai Mall area, and sit about 9 km away.

When is the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026?
The Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026 runs from 31 October to 29 November 2026. It is the 10th edition of the month-long event, which Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed launched in 2017.
When is Dubai Run 2026?
Dubai Run 2026 is on Sunday 22 November 2026, on Sheikh Zayed Road, with 5 km and 10 km routes starting at 6:30am. Last year’s run drew over 307,000 people.
When is Dubai Ride 2026?
Dubai Ride 2026 is on Sunday 1 November 2026, the challenge’s first weekend. Cyclists choose between a 4 km family loop and a 12 km route along a car-free Sheikh Zayed Road.
Is the Dubai Fitness Challenge free?
Yes. The core Dubai Fitness Challenge events, classes and fitness villages are free. Dubai Run and Dubai Ride need advance registration, and some partner races and extras, such as the Kite Beach aquapark, charge a fee.
