Food lovers, unite!

Whether you’re a street food lover or fine dining connoisseur, you’ll find something tantalising at the seventh edition of Dubai Food Festival (DFF).

.Dubai’s own celebration of world’s cuisine and fun entertainment begins on 26 February 2020 up until 14 March 2020 and is organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).

Foodies will get to try out traditional dishes on the city’s busy streets and be among the first to experience up-and-coming food ideas from top minds in the industry. Masterclasses and cooking competitions are also on the schedule, so expect to spot your favorite celebrity chefs!

Eat, drink, shop, and be merry! Here are some highlights to look out for:

Etisalat Beach Canteen (26 February – 14 March)

If you are looking for some entertainment along with food, this event is for you. The festival’s flagship event will be held at the beautiful Jumeirah Beach.

Bring the little ones as the children will have so much fun in the kids zone. There will be cooking workshops and live cooking sessions, plus a gaming square and some sports too to add to all the fun.

Foodie Experiences (26 February – 14 March)

Foodie experiences are all about experiential dining concepts that will be held across the city. Venues include Emirates Bio Farm, where there will be an organic tasting tour and dinner along with information on sustainable farming.

A dinner under the stars in the spectacular Al Fahidi District in Old Dubai will be hosted by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU). The menu will no doubt be authentic Emirati cuisine. Dubai’s most iconic restaurants — including Zhen Wei, BB Social Dining and Tresind Studio — will host chef’s table events and interactive masterclasses.

Please keep your ears to the ground for offers and promotions that are yet to be announced. Apart from these, Taste of Dubai will return for its 13th year from 12 March to 14 March with a line-up of celebrity chefs, family-friendly entertainment and food!

Hidden Gems (26 February – 14 March)

Get off the beaten path and seek out Dubai’s abundance of hidden gems. You’ll get to explore authentic hot spots with great ambiance and affordable prices.

You will also get a chance to vote and select the ten best hidden gems of Dubai! Voting opens 16 February and winners will be announced by 14 March.

Dubai Restaurant Week (5 March – 14 March)

For ten days, 35 of Dubai’s most popular restaurants will join hands to offer exquisitely curated two-course lunch menus and three-course dinner menus from 18 world’s cuisines!

Diners will get to choose from a range of restaurants, including those run by skilled chefs like Michelin-star chef Akira Back of Paru. Among other options visitors can indulge in are Hell’s Kitchen, Scalini and COYA. Prices start from AED 75 for lunch and AED 150 for dinner.

Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival (26 February-28 February)

Get ready for a night of pop, soul, funk, hip hop and electronic music with American singer, songwriter and rapper Lauryn Hill! Sway to the music of British musician Bruno Major and the illustrious Lionel Richie.

American pop rock band OneRepublic is scheduled to play too, along with Sammy Miller and The Congregation. Jazz fusion band Spyro Gyra will also be there to serenade you and your loved ones, adding to the magic
