Baggage, fees and what the fare actually includes
The Standard fare includes one small personal item that fits under the seat, and everything beyond that costs extra.

London Gatwick is its largest base, with further significant bases at Luton, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh and Glasgow, plus bases across France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
One structural detail matters for European travellers: easyJet holds separate air operator’s certificates through easyJet Switzerland and easyJet Europe, the latter based in Vienna. That structure was put in place to preserve intra-EU flying rights after Brexit, and it is a genuine differentiator from carriers holding only a UK certificate.
easyJet Plus membership
There is no conventional frequent flyer or miles programme. easyJet Plus is a paid annual membership at 249 pounds for the standard rate, and it bundles benefits into every flight booked for a year:

Separate from the airline, easyJet holidays is a packaged-holiday business inside easyJet plc that has become a significant profit contributor to the group.
In the quarter to 30 June 2026 it generated 84 million pounds in profit before tax, down from 86 million a year earlier, on a capital-light model. The group has flagged a medium-term target of 450 million pounds in annual profit for the holidays arm by FY2030.
When you see an easyJet financial headline, check which business the number refers to. Airline flying and easyJet holidays report separately, and press coverage often conflates the two.
Check-in, boarding and changing a booking
Online check-in opens 30 days before departure and closes 2 hours before scheduled departure. Airport bag drop typically closes 40 minutes before departure, extended to 60 minutes at Gatwick and at airports in Egypt, Israel, Morocco, Jordan and Tunisia.
Flight changes, most cancellations and refund requests go through Manage Bookings on easyJet’s site or app, with live chat available around the clock for anything Manage Bookings cannot resolve.
