How is Eid al-Adha celebrated in Tunisia?

Known as the festival of sacrifice or Qurbani Eid, Eid al-Adha is characterized by a ritual of offering acceptable animals such as cows, lambs, or rams as sacrifice. Approximately one-third is kept for the family, one-third for relatives, friends, and neighbors, and the remaining portion is given to the poor.

By participating in this Feast of Sacrifice, Muslims pledge their willingness to submit to the will of the Creator not just by sacrificing an animal but also by committing themselves to other acts of charity.
