What’s Changing on the Dubai–Accra Route
Emirates is moving from a daily service to 11 flights a week between Dubai and Accra, Ghana’s capital.
The four extra flights run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, on top of the existing daily service. The added capacity starts on 12 July 2026.
The expansion is the airline’s response to rising travel demand between Ghana and the wider Emirates network, which links Accra to destinations across Asia, Europe and North America through Dubai.
The New Flight Times and Aircraft
The added flights carry the numbers EK789 and EK790 and sit alongside the existing daily EK787/788 rotation. All Dubai–Accra services use the Boeing 777-300ER.
