Treat this as a dated snapshot rather than a live price: fares move by the hour, and you should always check current prices on Wego before booking.
Two routes needed a judgement call. The lowest fare Wego found to Bangkok and to Istanbul used four-digit flight numbers landing at a different airport in each city, Don Mueang instead of Suvarnabhumi and Sabiha Gökçen instead of Istanbul Airport, which points to a codeshare rather than a genuine Emirates mainline service.
To avoid publishing a fare that misrepresents what you would actually fly, the table below shows the confirmed all-Emirates mainline itinerary for those two routes instead.

New York is the outlier: the cheapest itinerary connects through Milan, but a fully nonstop Dubai to New York round trip is available for $1,341, just $5 more.

Fleet and aircraft
Emirates operates an all-widebody fleet of more than 275 aircraft, with no narrow-body jets at all. It is the world’s largest operator of the Airbus A380, with 116 in the fleet and around 110 targeted to be in active service by the end of 2026, alongside a Boeing 777 fleet of more than 120 aircraft split between the 777-300ER and the longer-range 777-200LR.
The airline is in the middle of a multi-year transition to the Airbus A350-900, its first new aircraft type in over a decade, with around 20 delivered so far against an order book that has grown in stages to 73 aircraft. On the cargo side, Emirates is on track for 21 production-built 777 freighters by the end of 2026, roughly double the 11 it operated in 2024.
Hubs, network and route map
Every Emirates flight connects through Dubai International Airport (DXB), the airline’s sole hub. From there it serves more than 135 destinations in 77 countries across six continents, with particular depth in South and Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe.
That single-hub model is why routes like Dubai to New Delhi and Dubai to Singapore run multiple times a day, while thinner long-haul markets such as Dubai to New York are more likely to carry a connection at the cheapest fare.
Cabins and onboard product
Emirates flies up to four cabins depending on aircraft and route: First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy. Premium Economy, which entered commercial service in August 2022, is being rolled out fastest of all, expanding city by city through 2026 as retrofitted Boeing 777s and new A350s enter service, with the airline targeting around 99 routes carrying the cabin by the end of the year.
A further phase of that retrofit programme began in August 2026, covering 111 more aircraft, 60 A380s and 51 Boeing 777s, which pick up new cabins along with next-generation seatback entertainment and Starlink WiFi.
Every cabin gets Emirates’ ice inflight entertainment system. On the A380, First Class passengers get exclusive access to two onboard shower spas, and First and Business passengers share the onboard lounge. Neither feature is available on the 777 fleet, and the shower is also absent from two-class A380s that carry no First Class cabin.
Baggage allowance and check-in
Cabin baggage is one bag up to 7kg in Economy and up to 10kg in Premium Economy, while Business and First each allow a 7kg carry-on plus a 7kg briefcase or garment bag.
Checked baggage depends on where you are flying. On most routes Emirates uses a weight-based allowance: Economy runs from 20kg on a Special fare to 35kg on Flex Plus, Premium Economy is 35kg, Business is 40kg and First is 50kg, with each individual bag capped at 32kg.
On flights to and from the Americas and Africa a piece-based allowance applies instead. The cheapest Economy Special fare gets one bag up to 23kg while other Economy fares get two, Premium Economy gets two 23kg bags, and Business and First each get two bags of up to 32kg. Every Emirates fare, even the cheapest Economy ticket, includes at least one checked bag.
Emirates Skywards loyalty programme
Emirates Skywards has four tiers: Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Membership starts at Blue the moment you sign up. Moving up depends on Tier Miles earned within a membership year: 25,000 for Silver, 50,000 for Gold, and 150,000 plus at least one qualifying Business or First class flight for Platinum. There is a second route to the first two tiers by qualifying flight count instead, at 25 flights for Silver and 50 for Gold.
Separately, Skywards Miles are earned on Emirates and flydubai flights and through partner airlines, hotels and credit cards, and can be redeemed for flights, upgrades and other rewards. Status is held for 12 months once you cross the threshold.
