Wimbledon, one of the four prestigious Grand Slam tennis tournaments, has unveiled a significant multi-year partnership with Emirates, the Dubai-based airline, as reported by Wego.

This strategic alliance positions Emirates as the official airline sponsor for the tournament, thereby extending its sponsorship portfolio to encompass all four major Grand Slam events in tennis: the Australian Open, the French Open, the US Open, and now, Wimbledon.

As part of the agreement, Emirates’ branding will be prominently showcased on the courts at Wimbledon, including the esteemed Centre Court. This visibility will be in effect during the tournament scheduled for 1 – 14 July 2024. Emirates has outlined plans to engage with the event through a variety of channels such as social media collaborations, digital marketing, hospitality offerings, and on-site activities. However, specific details regarding these initiatives have yet to be disclosed.

In addition to the commercial aspects of the partnership, the collaboration will also extend to social initiatives. A significant “Force for Good” fund will be established, aimed at making positive contributions to local communities.

Emirates President, Sir Tim Clark, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, underscoring Wimbledon’s global appeal and esteemed reputation in the world of sports. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the ongoing relationship between the world of tennis and Emirates.
