Emirates airlines will resume flight operations from Dubai to Nigeria starting 5 February 2022 with daily flights to and from Abuja and Lagos. The decision will provide further alternatives for passengers travelling to Dubai and over 120 destinations.

Flights had earlier been suspended between the two countries on 13 December 2021. With the resumption of flights between Dubai and Nigeria, passengers will need to follow the necessary COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.

All passengers travelling from Nigeria to Dubai must show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test from an approved health centre. The test certificate must contain a QR code and be conducted within 48 hours of departure to Dubai. Travellers will undergo another PCR test upon arrival and are requested to quarantine until the results of the tests have been received.

The Emirates flight EK 783 to Lagos will be scheduled to depart from Dubai at 10:30 am and arrive in Lagos at 3:40 pm. The return flight EK 784 will depart Lagos at 6:10 pm and arrive in Dubai the next day at 4:15 am.

Passengers from Nigeria who are transiting in Dubai must ensure that they follow the rules and prerequisites of their final destination.
