FIFA has recently stated that this year’s iteration of the FIFA Fan Festival, formerly known as FIFA Fan Fest, would be held in six venues across the world. For dedicated fans looking to attend the festival, here’s all you need to know about the FIFA Fan Festival 2022.  

What is FIFA Fan Festival?

The FIFA Fan Festival is a fan-focused event providing the opportunity for fans to gather beyond the 90 minutes and experience football in a unique and innovative way.

The FIFA Fan Festival is both an official and essential part of the World Cup experience by allowing all types of fans new ways to connect and engage with football in a festival environment.

Essentially, the FIFA Fan Festival is an inclusive event that welcomes avid and casual football enthusiasts, lovers of music, and those simply looking to experience a memorable food and culture experience.

Where does FIFA Fan Festival 2022 take place?

Outside of Doha, Qatar, the FIFA Fan Festival is held in 6 cities around the globe. Dubai Harbour is one of six venues in the world to host an international FIFA Fan Festival as the tournament proceeds in Qatar. Five other cities, two of them in Brazil, have officially been designated by FIFA to host the Fan Festival.

What can fans expect at the festival?

While offerings may vary between locations, generally speaking, the FIFA Fan Festival will feature the following attractions:

  • live broadcast of all matches on giant screens
  • concerts by local and international musicians
  • live performances by internationally renowned artists
  • a gastronomic area with unique culinary experiences of local and international cuisine
  • memorable football matches with FIFA Legends and interactive football games both physical and digital for fans of all ages
  • innovative promotions from tournament sponsors and a shop with original World Cup products.
