Middle Eastern carriers

Emirates (EK)

Emirates has cancelled all flights to and from Tehran until and including 17 July 2025. Customers connecting through Dubai to Iran remain barred from travel at their origin until further notice. Operations to Baghdad resumed on 1 July, and flights to Basra restarted on 2 July, with connecting passengers to Iraq now accepted for travel.

Etihad Airways (EY)

Etihad Airways continues its suspension of all flights between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Tel Aviv (TLV) until 15 July 2025 due to the regional security situation. Recently, select flights on 24–25 June—including routes to Moscow, Malé, Hyderabad, Narita, and Munich—experienced delays due to operational reasons.

Passenger Guidance

Etihad is assisting affected guests with rebooking or alternate travel. flydubai (FZ)

As of 1 July 2025, flydubai has resumed full network operations, following the easing of regional airspace restrictions. Flights to Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria are now operating normally. Flights to St. Petersburg (Russia) resumed from 2 July 2025, while all other Russia-bound services are currently operating as scheduled.

In Iran, flight operations have gradually restarted: services to Bandar Abbas, Mashhad, and Tehran resumed on 4 July 2025, followed by Lar and Shiraz on 5 July 2025.

Passenger Guidance

Passengers can manage re-bookings through the airline’s manage booking portal or contact their travel agent. It is important to note that passengers with connecting flights through Dubai to suspended destinations will not be permitted to board at their origin airports.

Air Arabia (G9)

Air Arabia has begun gradually resuming operations on previously suspended routes as regional airspace reopens, along with a restoration of flights to multiple destinations, including cities across Iran, Iraq, the Caucasus, and Eastern Europe, starting 1 July 2025. Notably, the airline resumed flights to Damascus, Syria, on 10 July 2025.

Customers are advised to check the latest status of their flights on airarabia.com, as updates vary by destination.

Middle East Airlines (MEA)

Middle East Airlines (MEA) has resumed all previously scheduled flights to and from Iraq, including Baghdad (two daily), Najaf (Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sun), and Erbil (Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun), effective 25 June 2025. This follows the reopening of Iraqi airspace after earlier suspensions.

Meanwhile, MEA adjusted the departure times of several flights from Beirut to Jordan and Gulf countries between 24 and 26 June, advancing them by nearly an hour to accommodate airspace constraints. Moreover, the airline also made delays and cancellations affecting some flights between 5 and 7 July 2025.

Royal Jordanian (RJ)

Due to the regional situation, Royal Jordanian continues to warn of possible flight cancellations and ongoing operational impacts. Notably, the airline has restarted services to Iraq and Syria from 25–26 June 2025, following regional stabilization. Flights to Baghdad, Basra, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Damascus have resumed.

Passenger Guidance

Passengers whose flights were canceled and scheduled for travel until 30 June 2025 are entitled to a free change without penalties or fare differences, free rerouting within the same region, or a non-refundable travel voucher valid for one year. Transit passengers via Amman may be rerouted on other carriers, subject to availability. Refunds are permitted based on fare rules, and all rebooked travel must be completed by 15 December 2025.

Additionally, passengers traveling between 13 June and 15 July 2025 who choose not to fly—despite their flight not being canceled—may make a one-time change free of charge (though fare difference and no-show fees apply).

Qatar Airways (QR)

Qatar Airways has resumed full operations to Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria following the lifting of regional airspace restrictions. Several flight routes were resumed on the following dates: Baghdad on 30 June, Erbil on 1 July, Sulaymaniyah and Najaf on 2 July, Basra on 3 July, Damascus on 6 July, and Beirut and Amman from 1 July. Flights to Iran remain temporarily suspended.

Passengers affected by cancellations or who want to change their plan for flights to/from Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria can take advantage of two free ticket reissues within ~21 days, with alternative options for rerouting and open-jaw flights also available. Oman Air (WY)

Oman Air officially resumed its suspended services to Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, and Kuwait on 24 June 2025, and is now operating its full daily flight schedule.

Kuwait Airways (KU)

Kuwait Airways temporarily suspended flights to and from Amman, Beirut, and Dubai until 30 June 2025 amid the conflict.

Several inbound flights originally scheduled to land in Kuwait have been rerouted to alternative airports, including Jeddah, Cairo, and Dammam. These include:

Gulf Air (GF)

Gulf Air has resumed flights to Amman (Jordan), Baghdad, and Najaf (Iraq) on 28 June 2025, following a brief suspension that had lasted through 27 June.

EgyptAir (MS)

EgyptAir has resumed direct flights between Cairo and both Beirut and Amman as of 27 June 2025, following improvements in regional airspace stability. Previously, flights to these cities had been suspended due to the conflict. Earlier suspensions to Baghdad and Erbil remain in effect unless further notice is issued.

SalamAir (OV)

SalamAir has resumed its flights to and from Iran, which were temporarily suspended due to operational reasons. Services officially recommenced on 10 July 2025, restoring connectivity between the two destinations.

Global carriers/others

British Airways (BA)

British Airways has suspended flights to Gulf hubs, including Dubai (DXB), Doha (DOH), Bahrain (BAH), and Tel Aviv (TLV). On June 23, at least two BA flights—one to Dubai and one to Doha—were diverted mid-flight, with one returning to London Heathrow and the other rerouted to Zurich. Parent company IAG confirmed that services to Bahrain and Tel Aviv will remain suspended through at least 31 July.

Affected travelers are being contacted directly and may claim full refunds or rebookings. BA advises passengers to check flight status via its website or app, or contact customer service for assistance.

Singapore Airlines (SQ)

Singapore Airlines has not issued any new travel advisories as of July 2025. Previously, the airline cancelled select flights between Singapore and Dubai on 24 and 25 June 2025, citing regional security concerns. The airline continues to monitor the situation and may update schedules without prior notice.

Passenger Guidance

Singapore Airlines passengers are advised to check their flight status at singaporeair.com, ensure contact details are updated, and enable mobile alerts. For assistance, travelers may contact customer support directly or use the Assistance Request Form on the airline’s website.

Air Canada (AC)

Air Canada has temporarily suspended its daily non-stop service between Toronto (YYZ) and Dubai (DXB) starting 18 June 2025, with the suspension currently in effect until 3 August 2025. The carrier also postponed the restart of its Toronto–Tel Aviv route to 8 September 2025, which was originally planned to resume on 8 June 2025. The airline noted that operations may remain suspended beyond that date, pending further safety assessments in coordination with government and regulatory authorities.

Passenger Guidance

Air Canada passengers with tickets issued by 23 June 2025 for travel to or from Dubai between 23 June and 25 August can rebook to a later date, request a travel credit, or opt for a full refund. If their flight is still scheduled, passengers may also rebook to another date through 30 September 2025 at no additional charge. Affected customers will receive an email with available options. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL)

KLM has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until further notice. Passengers traveling between 13 June and 31 July (tickets issued by 16 June) may rebook, request a voucher, or change departure/arrival to Athens or Larnaca—though onward travel from those cities is not covered.

In Beirut, rebooking or refund options apply to travel from 13 June to 6 July 2025 (tickets issued by 18 June), with rebooking allowed through 20 July.

Turkish Airlines (TK)

Turkish Airlines has reinstated flights to Iraq as of 25 June, and resumed services to Mashhad, Iran from 30 June 2025, following suspensions caused by the regional conflict. Operations have now fully resumed to key Iranian cities including Tehran, Shiraz, Tabriz, and Mashhad. However, effective 16 July 2025 (inclusive), flights to Isfahan, Iran have been cancelled. Affected passengers can rebook, request a refund, or opt for a travel voucher for tickets issued on or before 13 June for travel between 13 June and 31 July.

Passenger Guidance

Turkish Airlines passengers with tickets issued on or before 13 June 2025 for travel to or from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, or Lebanon between 13 June and 31 July 2025 are eligible for a free rebooking, refund, or ticket validity extension until 31 August. These policies apply only to Turkish Airlines-operated flights and must be processed by 31 July 2025. Unused and partially used tickets are both eligible for full refunds without penalty.

TAROM (RO)

Romania’s TAROM resumed flights to and from Tel Aviv on 26 June 2025, following improvements in regional security and coordination with relevant authorities. To meet increased demand, the airline introduced an additional round-trip flight overnight on 26/27 June using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

TAROM has also confirmed the resumption of flights to Beirut beginning the night of 27–28 June 2025, with operations scheduled on consecutive nights through 29/30 June.

Lufthansa Group (LH/LX/OS/SN/EW)

Lufthansa Group airlines have extended flight suspensions to several Middle Eastern destinations due to ongoing regional unrest. These measures apply to Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, though the duration and scope of suspensions vary by carrier.

Lufthansa has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until 31 July. Services to Tehran remain suspended until 31 August. SWISS has extended its suspension of Tel Aviv flights until 25 October and Beirut until 31 July. Austrian Airlines has also suspended flights to Tel Aviv until 31 July, and to Tehran until 14 August. Brussels Airlines and Eurowings follow the parent group’s guidance, though specific suspensions are not individually listed for these carriers.

Passenger Guidance

Passengers whose flights have been cancelled will typically be rebooked automatically and free of charge, with notification sent via SMS. If no message is received, travelers are encouraged to check their booking status directly on the airline’s website. Delta Air Lines (DL)

Delta Air Lines has suspended all New York JFK – Tel Aviv services until 31 August as part of its ongoing assessment of regional security threats.

Passenger Guidance

Passengers have the flexibility to re-issue tickets until 15 November, with fare differences waived if new travel occurs by that date. Passengers should contact Delta directly for assistance. More details can be found on Delta’s official announcement.

United Airlines (UA)

United Airlines has suspended flights to Tel Aviv (TLV) in light of the ongoing Middle East unrest and has announced that services would restart from 21 July. The airline has issued separate travel waivers for each destination, offering flexibility to affected passengers.

Passenger Guidance

United passengers booked to travel to Tel Aviv (13 June–1 August) or Dubai (18 June–3 July) can rebook for free within a few days of their original travel date or request a refund. Travel must be on United flights, in the same cabin, and between eligible cities. Change fees are waived, though fare differences may apply for later or alternate routes. Pegasus Airlines (PC)

Pegasus Airlines had previously suspended several routes due to the ongoing conflict. Flights to Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon resumed after 4 July 2025, while services to and from Iran are cancelled until the end of July 2025.

Affected passengers can make unlimited date changes, cancel their flights, or convert their bookings into open tickets—all free of charge—via the Pegasus website or mobile app.

Aegean Airlines (A3)

Aegean Airlines has partially resumed flights to and from Beirut on 10 July 2025, following a period of suspension due to regional unrest. Moreover, flights to and from Tel Aviv are scheduled to resume on 15 July, followed by the resumption of services to Erbil and Amman routes on 16 and 19 July, respectively.

Passenger Guidance

Air India (AI) and Air India Express (IX)

Following widespread airspace closures, Air India has resumed most operations to and from the Middle East as of 25 June 2025, with flights to Europe also progressively reinstated. Services to and from the East Coast of North America remain suspended until conditions allow. Some flights may still face delays or cancellations due to rerouting or extended flying times, as the airline continues to avoid airspaces deemed unsafe.

Passenger Guidance

Air India advises passengers to monitor their flight status closely and expect potential schedule changes. The airline is directly contacting affected travelers and offering rebooking, refunds, or alternate travel arrangements where applicable.

Pakistan International Airlines (PK)

In response to the ongoing security situation in the region, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued a general travel advisory, urging all passengers to verify their flight status prior to departure.

While no specific route suspensions or cancellations have been publicly detailed, the airline emphasizes that schedule adjustments may occur without prior notice depending on evolving conditions.

Qantas (QF)

Qantas continues to operate its European routes with adjusted flight paths to avoid impacted Middle Eastern airspace. The airline is actively monitoring the security situation and will directly notify passengers of any changes. At present, no action is required for unaffected bookings.

Passenger Guidance

Passengers with Qantas bookings to Iraq, Lebanon, or Israel for travel up to 31 July 2025—made before 23 June—may opt for a fee-free refund, travel credit, or date change. If booked directly, travelers should contact Qantas through its Australian hotline or local office. Those who booked through a travel agent should reach out to their agent for assistance.

Philippine Airlines (PR)

Philippine Airlines has resumed all previously suspended flights to the Middle East, including routes to Doha, Dubai, and Riyadh, following the reopening of regional airspace on 25 June 2025. These flights had been cancelled due to the Iran-Israel conflict and associated airspace restrictions.

Passenger Guidance

Passengers previously affected by cancellations can still rebook to another flight within 60 days of the original departure, request a refund without penalties (excluding ticketing service charges), or convert their ticket into travel credits valid for one year from the date of issuance. New bookings are now operating as scheduled, but passengers are advised to regularly check flight status on philippineairlines.com or contact the airline directly before heading to the airport.

Air France (AF)

Air France has resumed its flights between Paris and Tel Aviv as of 7 July 2025. The airline is also offering an exclusive USD 94 discount for travel from Tel Aviv to other destinations. Flights to Saudi Arabia and the UAE resumed on 25 June 2025. No new passenger advisory has been issued with this update.

Ryanair (FR)

Ryanair has cancelled all flights to and from Amman between 13 June and 25 October 2025, and to and from Tel Aviv between 4 May and 25 October 2025, citing circumstances beyond its control.

Finnair (AY)

Japan Airlines (JL)

Wizz Air (W6)

Wizz Air has issued a general advisory regarding potential disruptions to flights in and out of the Middle East due to the closure of multiple airspaces across the region. The airline had initially announced a suspension of all flights to and from Tel Aviv and Amman until 15 September 2025, citing continuing regional risks, and confirmed that it would avoid flying over Israeli, Iraqi, Iranian, and Syrian airspace until further notice.

However, the airline has since confirmed that flights to Tel Aviv will resume from 8 August 2025, returning a month earlier than planned, with many Tel Aviv routes to be gradually reinstated according to the schedule on its official website.
