Please note: Effective today, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has announced that Qatari citizens and GCC residents will be allowed to enter the country without a Hayya card. Only non-GCC tourists and visitors attending the World Cup matches will require the Hayya card.

Flydubai offers direct flights from Dubai, for all UAE travellers who wish to travel to Qatar.
Furthermore, Flydubai will also offer up to 30 World Cup shuttle flights a day from Dubai World Central (DWC) between Monday 21 November 2022 and Monday 19 December 2022.

Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways offers both direct and connecting flights from some big cities in the UAE, including Dubai, for all UAE travellers who wish to travel to Qatar.
Additionally, a partnership with Gulf carriers has been announced by Qatar Airways. The partnership will allow fans to hop on match-day shuttle flights between Doha and major Middle Eastern countries to attend World Cup matches and return home on the same day.
The match shuttle flights will operate from five cities in four countries – Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, Kuwait City, and Muscat – with 60 flights from the UAE, 40 flights from Saudi Arabia, 48 flights from Oman and 16 flights from Kuwait every day of the tournament.

Saudia
Saudia offers travellers from KSA both direct and connecting flights routes from Jeddah and Riyadh to Doha.
Furthermore, to ease the entry procedure into the KSA over the course of the World Cup, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier Saudia will be operating 40 shuttle flights daily to Doha from both Jeddah and Riyadh. The number of flights will further be increased to 60 daily flights on the Saudi team’s match days.

General entry requirements
Some of the general requirements according to the Ministry of Public Health Qatar are as follows:
- It is the responsibility of the traveller to know about any changes to the travel and return policy through official sources and websites before planning to travel to the State of Qatar.
- Travellers must adhere to the measures in place in the State of Qatar to limit the spread of COVID-19 at all times.
- The ‘Red Health Measures’ or country classification is no longer applicable.
Pre-arrival Covid test and quarantine requirements
The requirement for showing Covid-19 status on the Etheraz app has been dropped. However, travellers must still show the app before entering a healthcare facility.
