What Each Bundle Includes

fly is the cabin-bag-only fare. fly+ adds a checked bag and a standard seat. flyMax is the flexible top tier with free changes and a free seat of any type. Here is how they compare.

Allowances and fees can vary by route and are charged in Saudi riyals (SAR). The cabin bag must not exceed 55 x 35 x 20 cm, and a checked bag must stay within 32 kg per piece. flyadeal flies hubs like Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.

What It Costs to Change or Cancel

flyadeal lets you change a flight up to 90 minutes before departure. What you pay depends on your fare.

• fly: free if changed within 2 hours of booking; after that, a change fee plus any fare difference applies.
• fly+: same as fly, free within 2 hours of booking, then a change fee plus fare difference.
• flyMax: unlimited free date and time changes up to 90 minutes before departure; you pay only the fare difference.

All changes must be made at least 90 minutes before departure, or before your boarding pass is issued. Changes made through the call centre add a service fee, so use Manage My Booking online to avoid it.

A waived or free change covers the change itself only. If the new flight costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, flyadeal does not refund the gap.

Some tickets are excluded. Promotional, free or gifted fares and group bookings follow separate rules and may not be changeable, so check the conditions shown at the time of booking.

Refundable vs Non-Refundable, Explained

flyadeal’s cheaper fares are non-refundable. With fly and fly+, you cannot cancel for cash or credit, so the fare is lost if you simply do not travel. flyMax is the only fare with a built-in cancellation option.

If you cancel a flyMax booking in Manage My Booking, the fare value is kept as travel credit in your flyadeal wallet rather than refunded to your card. You can cancel up to 7 days before departure.

flyadeal travel credit sits in your flyadeal wallet and is valid for 3 months from the date it is issued. It can be used only for future flyadeal bookings tied to the same account, not transferred to someone else or paid out as cash.

Want refundability on a cheaper fare? flyadeal sells an optional Cancel for Any Reason add-on you choose at booking. It lets you cancel for a refund up to 24 hours before departure, cancels the whole booking for all passengers, and the add-on fee itself is non-refundable. It cannot be added after booking.

Two situations override the fare rules:

• Airline-initiated cancellation: if flyadeal cancels your flight and offers no suitable alternative, or one more than 6 hours later, every fare, including fly, is entitled to the full amount as credit valid for one year, or a refund requested through flyadeal’s online form.
• No-show: if you miss your flight without cancelling, the fare is forfeited on all fares. Only government taxes and charges can be reclaimed.

Adding Bags, Seats or Meals After Booking

You do not have to upgrade your bundle to get extras. You can top up any fare, even fly, in Manage My Booking after you book.

• Prepaid checked bag: SAR 65 for one 15 kg bag, or SAR 105 for one 25 kg bag. Each additional 15 kg bag is SAR 150.
• Buying online beforehand is cheaper than paying at the airport.
• Bag check-in counters close 60 minutes before departure, so add bags, seats and meals before then.

There is no one-click way to swap into a higher bundle, so compare the add-on cost against the next fare up. For example, weigh the price of a 25 kg bag plus a seat against simply booking fly+.

How to Cancel or Change Online

The fastest route is flyadeal’s own Manage My Booking tool.

1. Go to flyadeal.com and open Manage My Booking.
2. Enter your booking reference and last name.
3. Select the flight, then choose to change or cancel it.
4. For a change, pick the new date or time and pay any fee plus the fare difference.
5. For a flyMax cancellation, confirm to receive the value as credit in your flyadeal wallet.

If you booked through a travel agent or a third-party website, you must make any change or cancellation through them, not with flyadeal directly. To use travel credit later, apply your flyadeal wallet balance at the payment step within its validity window.
