Which Routes Are Suspended or Disrupted?

UAE airspace is officially open and flydubai is still flying from Dubai International Airport (DXB). Its operational-updates page retains a reduced-schedule notice dated 31 March. The following route checks were made on 7 September 2026:

Kuwait City (KWI) — scheduled: The published timetable lists daily FZ63 from Dubai at 15:30 to Kuwait at 16:25, local times, through 18 October 2026. See our Kuwait travel advisory and check flydubai’s website before booking any Kuwait travel.
Abha (AHB) — scheduled: flydubai’s route page lists 14 weekly direct flights from Dubai Terminal 2: FZ815 at 10:25 and FZ811 at 13:40. These are published departure times, not live seat availability.
Bahrain (BAH) — scheduled: The timetable lists daily Dubai–Bahrain FZ23 at 07:10–07:30, local times, through 18 October. Bahrain Airport’s 7 September board also lists return flight FZ24 to Dubai at 08:30 as on time.

EASA’s Gulf bulletin, revised on 31 August and valid through 30 September unless reviewed earlier, advises avoiding Persian Gulf waters except as necessary for local arrivals and departures, avoiding Gulf of Oman waters west of 58°E, and exercising caution over land. It is not a blanket airport closure. With conditions still volatile, verify your route directly with flydubai before booking.

Which Routes Are Operating?

The following routes form part of flydubai’s network from DXB ; a network listing does not confirm that every departure operates daily. Confirm your flight before travelling.

GCC and Middle East

This region is the backbone of flydubai’s network. Most key routes are in service:

Saudi Arabia (operating): Flights to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Medina, and secondary cities including Al Ula, Gizan, Ha’il, Taif, and Yanbu are served (Abha also has scheduled service, as noted above). Search for flights to Riyadh or flights to Jeddah on Wego.
Doha (operating): The Dubai–Doha route is operating.
Muscat (operating): The Dubai–Muscat route is active.
Amman (operating): Year-round flights to Amman continue.
Cairo and Alexandria (operating): Both Cairo (Sphinx) and Alexandria routes are running.
Tel Aviv (operating): flydubai serves Tel Aviv, but this route is especially sensitive to regional tensions and can change at short notice. Confirm directly with flydubai.

South Asia

Routes to South Asia are operating, connecting Dubai’s large expatriate communities with home. Some flights may take longer than usual due to airspace rerouting.

India (operating): Delhi, Mumbai, and other Indian cities are being served. Search for flights to Delhi on Wego.
Pakistan (operating): Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Quetta are being served. Search for flights to Karachi on Wego.
Bangladesh (operating): The network includes Chattogram. flydubai also serves Dhaka.

Europe

Most European routes are operating.

Year-round routes (operating): Belgrade, Budapest, Bucharest, Sofia, Naples, Milan Bergamo, Zagreb, Tirana, Warsaw, Krakow, and Basel are among the destinations being served.
Seasonal routes: Popular summer destinations like Mykonos, Santorini, Dubrovnik, and Corfu are seasonal routes whose operating dates vary.

Central Asia, Caucasus, Russia, and Africa

flydubai serves destinations across these regions from Dubai, including several Russian cities such as St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Sochi, and Mineralnye Vody.

If Your Flight Is Cancelled or Disrupted
