Is the nonstop quicker than connecting through Kathmandu?
Yes, in every month we checked. The cheapest connection was always slower and pricier than the nonstop, by AED 714 to 1,191 and by two and a half to nine and a half hours, because it waits for a Kathmandu or Colombo stopover.
Is the same flight sold by Emirates?
Yes. flydubai and Emirates codeshare the route, so the same aircraft also appears as an Emirates flight number. On every week we priced, the flydubai fare was the cheaper of the two.

How these figures were produced
- Fares: three departure dates sampled in each month from October to March, every one a seven-night return for one adult in economy on a single airline, market AE, priced in AED. The figure shown on the page is October’s, the cheapest of all months sampled and the nearest-term. The other months’ figures appear only in the FAQ, not as a control on the page.
- Schedule: read from live fare inventory on every date from 20 October to 3 November 2026, which is where the flight number and the timing change, then checked against flydubai’s own release. Wego’s published timetable feed returns nothing for this route. Winter inventory runs to 27 March 2027; summer 2027 is not loaded yet.
- Cheapest connection (FAQ only, not shown on the page): for each month, priced on that month’s own sampled date, the cheapest outbound option with one or more stops, whatever the stop count. Not forced into a fixed nonstop/one-stop/two-stop shape, because some months have no clean two-stop product among the fifty cheapest results and a forced row would invent one.
- Hotel rates: 74 Pokhara properties for two adults in one room over a two-night mid-October sample, inside the same month as the flight fare above. Star ratings were tested and are usable in this market, with 4 of 74 properties at zero or one star. The Cheapest pick in each area is chosen on price plus a real guest score and is not held to the four-star floor; the other two are four stars or better and score 8.0 or better.
- Every price is a from-snapshot taken on 16 September 2026 in AED, and moves.
