Why flynas Flights May Be Disrupted
US strikes on Iran and Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait intensified again on 20 July 2026. flynas says airspace closures at some destinations may change scheduled flights.

Which flynas Routes Are Affected?
On 20 July 2026, the flynas advisory named Kuwait and Bahrain for a voluntary-cancellation offer. It also said some scheduled flights may change because of airspace closures.
The notice does not identify every affected service or say that all flights to these destinations are cancelled. Check your booking before leaving for the airport.

How to Check Your Exact Flight Before Leaving for the Airport

Your Cancellation Options
For a flynas cancellation covered by Saudi GACA rules, the airline must offer available alternative flights and explain your care, support and compensation rights.
- Accept an available alternative flight. GACA delay rules then apply to the wait between the original and alternative flight.
- Decline the alternative and end the contract. You can request the full ticket value, including paid booking extras such as seats and baggage.
Accepting an alternative means you do not receive cancellation compensation under the GACA cancellation rules. Declining it also ends the airline’s duty to provide cancellation care and support under Article 17.
Extra compensation can be exempted in a GACA-approved force majeure case. Refund and support rules are separate, so ask flynas to explain which rule it is applying to your booking.
The current Kuwait and Bahrain waiver is different. It allows eligible passengers to cancel without a fee up to 48 hours before departure and receive a full credit shell, not a cash refund.
flynas says this waiver covers bookings made through flynas.com, the flynas app or online travel agencies. If your flight is still operating and the waiver does not apply, normal fare conditions may apply.
