flynas opens Pristina to Madinah on Monday 26 October 2026, giving Kosovo a direct link to the Umrah gateway. Monday is the only slot in the week, so a trip runs in whole weeks. Seats are on sale now.
What a seat costs
March and April were the cheapest months sampled, and January the most expensive. Prices ease steadily after the January peak, so a spring Monday is the better buy.

Your Saudi visa
- Kosovo is not one of the 66 countries on the Saudi eVisa list, so an application there will not go through.
- Apply on Nusuk Umrah, run by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Kosovo is a listed country of residence and the full packages include the visa.
- A licensed Umrah agent in Kosovo can file the same application on your behalf.
- Apply on the Saudi eVisa portal. Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Albania and the United Kingdom are all on the list.
- It runs for a year, allows multiple entries, and each visit can last up to 90 days.
- The portal states the visa covers Umrah but not Hajj, so you need nothing extra.
Many travellers in Kosovo also hold a German, Swiss or Austrian passport. If you do, travel on it. The online route is open to that passport and shut to a Kosovo one.
Where to stay in Madinah
The price wall sits at one kilometre, not at the mosque door. Inside a kilometre the middle rate is about EUR 184 a night. Between one and two kilometres it is about EUR 85.

Questions
When do flynas flights between Pristina and Madinah start, and how often do they go?
The first departure is Monday 26 October 2026. flynas has loaded one round trip a week, every Monday, through to Monday 5 April 2027. Nothing beyond that date is on sale yet, so the service reads as a winter-season route for now.
Can Kosovo passport holders get a Saudi eVisa?
No. Kosovo is not among the 66 countries on the Saudi eVisa portal. Albania and Montenegro are on that list, and Kosovo is not. Kosovo passport holders apply instead through Nusuk Umrah, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah platform where Kosovo is a listed country of residence, or through a licensed Umrah agent.
Can I perform Umrah on a Saudi tourist visa?
Yes. The Saudi eVisa portal states the tourist visa covers tourism activities including Umrah, and excludes Hajj. That matters on this route because a traveller holding a German, Swiss, Austrian or Swedish passport can apply online and needs no separate pilgrimage visa.
Does flynas still fly between Jeddah and Pristina?
Yes, as a seasonal service. flynas opened Jeddah to Pristina on 1 October 2025 with three flights a week, paused it in April 2026 and brought it back for autumn 2026. The Madinah service is a separate route on a separate day, so the two do not replace one another.

How these figures were produced
- Fares are the cheapest flynas nonstop found on each sampled Monday, one adult, one way, economy, quoted in euros for the Kosovo market. Two or three Monday departures were sampled in each full month. October 2026 and April 2027 carry one each, because those are the only weeks the route operates in those months.
- A month label is not a booking window. Every link on this page opens the route with no dates attached, so you choose your own Monday and see live prices.
- Operating days were established by searching every day of one week and finding flynas nonstops on the Monday only. The launch date was established the same way: the Monday before 26 October 2026 returns nothing.
- Hotel distances are straight-line measurements from each property to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, and walking times assume 80 metres a minute. Real walking routes are longer than a straight line.
- Hotel cards show the cheapest properties in each distance band that carry a guest score of 7.5 or better from at least 50 reviews. Star ratings were not used: the feed rates several well-known Madinah hotels at zero or one star.
- The two limits worth knowing: prices are a single snapshot, and flynas has published no press release for this route, so every schedule fact here comes from live inventory rather than an announcement.
