What is the FTI-TTP initiative?

The Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Travel Program (FTI-TTP) is an initiative by the Government of India aimed at expediting and streamlining immigration services at airports. This program allows travelers to bypass lengthy queues and traditional procedures through a contactless, automated, and free process.

With FTI-TTP, departing and arriving passengers can complete immigration in seconds via e-gates. Travelers simply scan their passport and boarding pass at the first e-gate. If verified, they proceed to the next e-gate, where facial recognition is used to finalize the emigration process.

Currently available at Delhi International Airport’s Terminal 3, this service is set to expand to 21 international airports nationwide. Eligible travelers can access the facility after a simple registration. Continue reading for detailed information on this initiative.
