5. Receive New Booking Confirmation: Garuda will issue a new confirmation with your flight details, booking reference, and seat assignment. Save it.

If You’re Stranded in the Gulf

Most Gulf hubs are operating and other carriers fly between the GCC and Indonesia, so options are usually available. Doha is the main gap, since Garuda’s route there is still suspended.

Is Garuda Indonesia flying to Doha right now?

No. The Jakarta–Doha route has been suspended since 28 February 2026 and remains suspended until further notice as of early June 2026, even though Hamad International Airport is open and other foreign airlines have started returning.

What about Garuda’s Dubai and Jeddah flights?

The 60-day Jakarta–Dubai suspension that began on 1 April 2026 has lapsed, and limited flights are operating again — confirm your specific flight directly with Garuda. Jakarta–Jeddah continues to operate but has been reduced from daily to three flights per week.

My flight is in a few weeks. Should I cancel now or wait?

If your booking is on Jakarta–Doha, contact Garuda to discuss a refund or rebooking, as that route is still suspended. For Dubai and Jeddah, confirm directly with Garuda since both run on limited schedules. Don’t cancel a still-operating flight prematurely. If Garuda cancels, you are protected under consumer law.

I booked through a travel agent. Who do I contact?
