Hajj from India 2022 cost

The cost of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage will be significantly higher compared to the last Hajj season in 2019. Indian Hajj seekers will have to endure a staggering 50 percent increase. Those registering for Hajj through the government’s HCI will have to pay INR 3,99,500 while private operators are charging up to INR 6 lakh.

The steep increase is due to Saudi Arabia’s decision to jack up various Hajj-related charges. For example, one of the most crucial elements of Hajj, a stay in Mina and Mount Arafat, now costs over INR 124,247 as opposed to the previous INR 22,778.
