How to Check Your Hajj Visa
There are two ways to do so:
MOFA Portal / KSA Visa Portal
The quickest way to check your Hajj visa is through the KSA Visa portal, the official visa services platform operated by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The service is free, requires no login, and takes less than two minutes.
Here’s how to check your Hajj visa status step by step:
- Go to ksavisa.sa and click “Track Application” on the homepage
- Select “Passport Number” from the query type dropdown menu
- Enter your passport number and the order number provided by your Hajj group organiser or travel agent
- Complete the CAPTCHA verification code displayed on screen
- Click “Enquiry” to see your visa status instantly
You don’t need a visa number to run this check, as your passport number and order number are sufficient.
If you don’t have your order number, contact the travel agent or Hajj group organiser who submitted your application.
Visa Status Result on MOFA
- Approved — Your visa has been granted and is ready
- Pending — Your application is still under review
- Rejected — Your application was declined, typically due to a document issue or data mismatch
If your status shows “No Record Found” on the MOFA portal, it usually means one of two things.
Either your travel agent hasn’t uploaded your application yet, or there’s a typo in the passport number or order number you entered.
Nusuk Hajj Platform
The Nusuk Hajj platform is the second official channel for tracking your Hajj visa application.
Managed by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Nusuk is the platform through which most international pilgrims register and book their Hajj packages.
To check your visa status on Nusuk, log in to your account at hajj.nusuk.sa and navigate to your application section. Your visa status will appear alongside your booking details.
Nusuk also lets you download your approved visa directly. If your status shows “Approved,” you can save and print your visa from within the platform, no need to visit an embassy or consulate to collect a physical copy.
For pilgrims from Nusuk-serviced countries — including the US, UK, EU nations, Australia, and others — this is the primary platform to manage your entire Hajj journey.
Check your status regularly, as the Nusuk Hajj Guides recommend monitoring for updates and taking action promptly when required.
Visa Status Result on Nusuk
On the Nusuk platform, you’ll see one of these statuses:
- New — Your application has been received. No action is needed yet; wait for further updates
- Under Process — Your visa application is being reviewed by Saudi authorities. No action required on your end
- Approved — Your visa has been issued. Download and print a copy immediately for your records and travel
- Send Passport to Embassy — You must physically submit your passport to the nearest Saudi Embassy or Consulate for visa stamping
Completing Biometrics via the Saudi Visa Bio App
Your Hajj visa cannot be marked as “Issued” until you complete biometric registration.
Saudi Arabia requires all Hajj pilgrims to submit biometrics — a facial image and fingerprints — before the visa can be finalised.
The easiest way to do this is through the Saudi Visa Bio app, available on both Android and iOS. The process takes under 10 minutes from your phone, no embassy visit required.
Here’s what the app needs to complete your biometric enrollment:
- A valid email address linked to your application
- A photo of your passport data page, captured through the app’s camera
- A facial photo taken in real time through the app
- Fingerprint images captured using your phone’s camera
All biometric data is automatically deleted from the app once enrollment is complete, according to the Council of British Hajjis.
Your data is submitted directly to Saudi authorities and not stored on your device.
If you can’t complete biometrics through the app, visit the nearest Tasheer Centre or authorised visa processing centre in your country.
Don’t delay this step, as incomplete biometrics will hold up your entire visa.
What to Do If Your Visa Status Shows a Problem
A “Rejected” or “No Record Found” status doesn’t always mean your Hajj plans are over. The sooner you identify and fix the issue, the better your chances of resolving it before departure.
Here are the most common problems and how to fix them:
Data Mismatch Between Passport and Application
This is the most frequent cause of rejection. Even a minor discrepancy — a misspelled name, wrong date of birth, or incorrect passport number — between your Nusuk profile and your actual passport will trigger an automatic rejection.
Double-check every field in your Nusuk profile against your passport. Contact your Hajj group organiser to correct any errors and resubmit.
Incomplete or Missing Documents
Missing vaccination certificates are a common culprit. Saudi Arabia requires a valid Meningococcal Meningitis (ACYW) vaccination certificate issued at least 10 days before your entry date. The quadruple polysaccharide vaccine is valid for up to 3 years; the quadruple conjugate vaccine is valid for up to 5 years.
Ensure all required documents — passport photos, health certificates, and insurance — are uploaded in the correct format. Incomplete submissions will delay or block your visa.
Biometrics Not Completed
Your visa will remain stuck at “Under Process” if biometrics are outstanding. Complete them via the Saudi Visa Bio app or at a Tasheer Centre as soon as possible.
Application Not Yet Uploaded by Agent
If you see “No Record Found” on the MOFA portal, your travel agent may not have submitted your application yet. Contact them directly to confirm your application has been uploaded and request your order number.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is checking my Hajj visa status online free?
Yes, it’s completely free. Both the KSA Visa portal and the Nusuk Hajj platform let you check your visa status at no charge — avoid any third-party site that asks for payment to track your visa.
How long after applying should I wait before checking my visa status?
Wait at least 72 hours after your travel agent submits the application before checking the MOFA portal. Nusuk account verification typically takes 24 to 48 hours, though it can take longer during peak periods.
When do Hajj 2026 pilgrim arrivals begin?
Pilgrim arrivals started on 18 April 2026 (1 Dhul Qadah 1447 AH) and run through 21 May. Hajj rituals are expected around 25–29 May 2026, with departures extending until 30 June.
Can I download my Hajj visa online once it’s approved?
Yes. Once your status shows “Approved” on Nusuk or the MOFA portal, you can download and print your visa directly. Some nationalities may still need to submit their passport to the Saudi Embassy for stamping.
What if my visa status is still “Under Process” close to my departure?
Contact your Hajj group organiser and the Nusuk support team immediately. Ensure your biometrics are complete and all documents are uploaded correctly — these are the most common causes of delays. The Nusuk call centre can be reached at +966 9200 31201.
