Transportation modes available to get to the site

Getting to the Expo 2020 Dubai site is relatively easy. The following are the transportation modes available to take you to the event site:

By metro

The Dubai Metro Red line will take you directly from the city of Dubai to the Entrance of Expo 2020.

The scheduled Metro arrivals are:

  • First arrivals to the Expo Station are at 06:15 from Saturday to Thursday and 09:15 on Friday.
  • The last departures from the Expo Station are at 00:00 Saturday to Wednesday and 01:00 Thursday to Friday.

You can plan your metro hassle-free from RTA’s S’hail app (Andriod, iOS).

By Expo Rider and RTA buses

Expo Rider is yet another hassle-free mode of transportation to get to and from the Expo 2020 site. The transportation mode is free of charge for the visitors of the Expo 2020 event. They can easily catch this ride from different locations- Dubai or any other Emirates. Please note where it drops you off as you’ll have to make the return trip from the same gate.

You can also pay to catch any of RTA’s Standard buses.

See where to catch the bus and the bus schedule from RTA’s S’hail app (Andriod, iOS).

By taxi

Taxis can be booked to get to the Dubai Expo 2020 site by phone. However, the most hassle-free way to book a taxi is downloading the CareemUber or S’hail app (Andriod, iOS). The Careem app even allows you to book the ‘Hala taxi’, Dubai’s most affordable taxi. Taxis can also be booked from RTA’s Taxi website.

Note: AED 20 is the flat fee for rides originating from the Expo site.

By car

Driving is another easy way to get to the Expo 2020 site because you can get to this site from all the major roads. Follow the signs for one of the four designated parking zones:

Opportunity Parking Zone
