Emergency consular services during the pause

Emergency consular services continue throughout the 26–30 June pause, handled directly by the missions rather than the outsourced provider.

The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai will provide emergency passport, visa and attestation services directly during this period.

What’s changing for Indian passport, visa and attestation services

From 1 July 2026, Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC will deliver all outsourced Indian consular services in the UAE, according to the Embassy of India.

The services moving to the new provider cover everything Indian residents use regularly:

Passports: new issuance, renewals and re-issue
Visas: visa applications for travel to India
Attestation: document and certificate attestation
OCI services: Overseas Citizen of India applications
Other documents: Police Clearance Certificates and related paperwork

Al Hind will set up 16 new centres across all seven emirates to handle the workload.

According to Khaleej Times, the new provider has indicated an all-inclusive service fee of Dh19 on top of the mandatory government charges. Confirm current fees on the official portal once it opens.

If your passport, visa or attestation need is not urgent, the simplest plan is to either submit before the 25 June cut-off or wait until after 1 July.
