IndiGo’s Dubai schedule right now
Dubai is IndiGo’s high-frequency UAE route rather than its widest one. Every city below has at least one daily nonstop in the current timetable, and the metro pairs carry more than one.

Two routes the airline flew before the conflict, Thiruvananthapuram and Amritsar, are not in the current Dubai timetable. If you are booking from either, expect a connection.
How long the flight takes
The published block times already account for the routings IndiGo is flying today, so the number on your booking is the number to plan around. Delhi to Dubai is timed at three hours forty minutes on the 08:40 departure. Flights keep clear of the highest-risk parts of the Gulf, which adds track miles without changing the shape of the journey.
Delay is the live risk rather than duration. Regional strikes on 2 September pushed schedules across the Gulf, and airlines including IndiGo have been retiming rotations at short notice since. A flight can be on the timetable and still leave two hours late.
If IndiGo cancels your Dubai flight
IndiGo’s blanket waiver from earlier in the year has expired, and no new one has been published. What you get now depends on who cancelled.
- IndiGo cancels: you are entitled to the next available IndiGo service at no extra cost, or a full refund. Process it through Manage Booking on goindigo.in or in the IndiGo app.
- You cancel: standard fees apply. The airline sometimes grants case-by-case waivers during active disruption, but do not count on one.
- You booked through a platform: contact that seller as well, because refund handling differs from a direct booking.
- You need to be there sooner: IndiGo does not interline with Emirates or flydubai, so it cannot move you onto them. Buying a separate ticket on Emirates, flydubai or Air India Express is your own decision and your own cost.
Is it safe to fly IndiGo to Dubai?
Dubai International is open and operating, and UAE airspace has been fully open since 2 May 2026. Government advice has softened over the summer and now differs sharply by nationality, so check the one that applies to your passport.
- United Kingdom: the Foreign Office no longer advises against travel to the UAE. It dropped that advice on 18 June 2026.
- Australia: reconsider your need to travel, down from do not travel since 17 June 2026. The advice covers transits as well as visits.
- United States: Level 3, Reconsider Travel.
- Canada: avoid non-essential travel, updated 1 September 2026.
- India: IndiGo’s own advisory asks passengers to check flight status before travelling, as delays and schedule changes remain possible.
If you are buying insurance, read whether it covers conflict-related disruption. Many standard policies exclude it, and some will not pay out on a trip taken against your own government’s advice.
