IndiGo has suspended flights to six international destinations until 30 September 2026.
Other flights may change at short notice because Gulf airspace risks remain volatile. Check your PNR before leaving for the airport.
Six destinations are suspended
IndiGo has temporarily suspended these international destinations because of softer seasonal demand, higher costs and continued airspace restrictions:
- From 1 July: Langkawi, Krabi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
- From 3 July: Siem Reap.
The suspensions run until 30 September 2026. IndiGo plans to reopen bookings from 1 October, but may reinstate services earlier if conditions improve.
Current international flight example
Wego’s timetable checked on 7 September lists Delhi-Dubai flights 6E1461 at 08:40 daily through 27 September and 6E1463 at 19:10 daily through 18 October. Times are local departure times. These are scheduled services, not confirmation of seats or completed flights.
Check your exact flight
Use IndiGo’s flight status page with your PNR or flight details. Recheck before travel because security-related airspace restrictions can be imposed quickly.
- Check the status again before leaving for the airport.
- Confirm your terminal directly with IndiGo if you are flying to or through the Gulf.
- Keep the phone number and email address in your booking up to date.

Gulf disruption can affect flights
EASA’s bulletin, revised on 31 August and valid until 30 September 2026 unless reviewed earlier, advises covered operators to avoid maritime airspace in the Persian Gulf except where necessary for airport arrivals or departures, and to avoid Gulf of Oman waters west of 58°E. It calls for caution over land and current risk assessments. This is not an airline-wide suspension notice.
If IndiGo changes your flight
If IndiGo cancels or reschedules your flight, check whether your booking is eligible for Plan B.
Eligible passengers can change their flight date or time, or cancel and request a refund, at no extra cost. Use your PNR and email address or surname to retrieve the booking.
Normal fare charges may apply if you cancel voluntarily. Check your eligibility before confirming a change.
