Where should I stay in Aswan?

It depends on your budget and whether you mind a boat. Nubian guesthouses on Elephantine Island and the west bank were both the cheapest and the best rated in this snapshot, from KWD 12 a night, but most need a river crossing. City hotels on and around the Corniche started at KWD 16 and you can drive to the door, which matters when the flight lands at midnight. Nile-front four and five-star hotels and island resorts ran KWD 48 to KWD 66 for the same dates.
