KLM Flights to Dubai: Current Status
KLM has cancelled all flights between Amsterdam Schiphol and Dubai through 24 October 2026.
The airline confirmed this in its Middle East situation statement, with the Dubai suspension extended in its 5 August update. KLM’s travel alerts, updated 6 September, also list Dubai, Riyadh and Dammam as suspended through 24 October 2026.
When Will KLM Resume Dubai Flights?
KLM has not committed to a return date.
KLM says it is monitoring the regional security situation and cannot yet resume its regular schedule.
The 24 October date is the end of the currently announced suspension, not a confirmed resumption date.
What Affects KLM’s Return?
The relevant EASA advisory is CZIB-2026-07R2, valid through 30 September 2026.
It advises against flying over specified Gulf waters, with an exception for necessary arrivals and departures in the Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha and Emirates FIRs, and calls for caution over land. The Gulf of Oman restriction applies west of 58°E. Operators must assess and monitor the risks.
Airlines make their own operational and safety assessments alongside national requirements. EASA’s bulletin also applies to authorised third-country operators on operations to, from and within the EU.

Rebooking and Refunds for KLM Dubai Flights

Additional Expense Reimbursement
