Football fans in Dubai are buzzing with energy, booking their tickets and hotels via World Cup travel packages, and gearing up to attend the biggest football tournament, the FIFA World Cup 2022, which is being held in Doha, Qatar, this year. To further facilitate and entertain World Cup enthusiasts in the country, NH Dubai The Palm is all set to be the first football-themed hotel in the UAE.
Please note: Effective today, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has announced that Qatari citizens and GCC residents will be allowed to enter the country without a Hayya card. Only non-GCC tourists and visitors attending the World Cup matches will require the Hayya card.

NH Dubai The Palm, Dubai’s only exclusive football fan hotel, is expected to open by December this year.

Located on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, a global landmark, NH Dubai The Palm will be part of Seven Hotel & Apartments, a mixed-use development consisting of a hospitality tower and a residential tower. The hotel will be easily accessible on The Palm’s main trunk, adjacent to the largest mall on The Palm and close to the Palm Fountain at The Pointe, which launched recently as the world’s largest fountain. Dubai’s other key tourist attractions including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina are all within easy reach.
NH Dubai The Palm amenities and rooms
The new 14-story property will offer 227 hotel guest rooms and suites, in addition to 306 serviced apartments. Facilities will include multiple restaurants and bars, three spa treatment rooms, a kids’ club and four meeting rooms. For the active, there will be a gym fully equipped with the latest equipment. In addition, the hotel will be home to a spectacular rooftop infinity pool, creating the perfect ‘Insta’ spot.
Hotel guests will be treated to fun and exciting sports challenges and competitions throughout the tournament, and the hotel’s bar is all set to be transformed into a fan zone.
NH Dubai World Cup transfer and shuttle services
The Football Fans Dubai Experience, hosted by the Expat Sport tourism agency, will offer a package of flights from Dubai to Qatar, airport transfers and accommodation at the new NH Dubai The Palm. While staying here, fans can make use of these transfer services offered by the hotel:
- Return transfers from NH Hotel to Dubai (DWC) airport
- Return transfers from Doha (DIA) airport to the stadium
- Free transfers to the Budweiser fan park.
Supporters flying to Doha on a day trip and staying at the hotel will receive welcome packs, tickets and discounts to other designated fan zones around the city to watch games.
Shuttle buses will be laid on so fans can watch other matches at official fan zones around the city at Dubai Harbour, the Coca-Cola Arena and Football Park at DIFC.
NH Dubai price
There are currently three stay packages in the hotel:
- 4 night package: USD 1,290 (AED 4,700) + VAT
- 8 night package: USD 2,580 (AED 9,400)+ VAT
- 12 night package: USD 3,870 (AED 14,200)+ VAT
