1. Passengers traveling as tourists are not allowed to enter.
– This does not apply to nationals and residents of Korea (Dem. People’s Rep.).
– This does not apply to passengers with a diplomatic, consular, official, service or special passport.
2. Passengers are subject to quarantine.

 

Detailed Tourist Information

All air and train routes into and out of North Korea are temporarily suspended as of 31 January 2020.

Foreigners who have travelled into North Korea from virus-affected countries are subject to a 30 day period of quarantine and medical supervision.
 

Lockdown Details

Strict containment measures have been reported to be in place.

The new school term has reportedly been cancelled.

It has been reported that not wearing a facemask could lead to a sentence of three months of hard labour.
