What Each Bundle Includes
Every Oman Air fare includes a hot meal and a 7 kg cabin bag. What changes between bundles is checked baggage, seat selection, and how freely you can change or cancel.

What It Costs to Change or Cancel
Oman Air doesn’t publish a flat fee table. Your exact change or cancellation charge depends on the fare, route and how close to departure you are, and it’s shown when you start the change in Manage Booking.
Here is how flexible each fare is when plans change:
- Economy Super Saver: changes allowed but carry the highest change fee plus any fare difference; the fare itself is non-refundable.
- Economy Comfort: change or cancel for a fee, plus any fare difference on a change.
- Economy Flex: change with no change fee (you pay only any fare difference) and cancel for a refund.
- Business Comfort: change or cancel for a fee; a no-show is charged.
- Business Flex: change and cancel with no fee; fare difference still applies on a change.
- Business Studio: the most flexible bundle, with changes and cancellation included.
Why You Still Pay the Fare Difference
A waived or paid change fee covers the change only. If your new flight costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, Oman Air does not refund the gap.
Make any change before your flight’s check-in deadline. Miss the flight without telling Oman Air first and you become a no-show, which forfeits the fare.
Promo and Group Fares Follow Different Rules
Promotional or heavily discounted fares can carry tighter change and refund rules than the standard bundle, so check the conditions shown at booking. Group bookings follow separate terms agreed when the group is booked.

Refundable vs Non-Refundable, Explained
The cheapest fare trades flexibility for price. Economy Super Saver is non-refundable, Comfort refunds your fare minus a cancellation fee, and Flex, Business Flex and Business Studio refund in full to your original payment.
“Non-refundable” doesn’t mean the ticket is worthless. On Super Saver you can still change the flight (paying the change fee and any fare difference) and reclaim government taxes, and the ticket’s value stays usable within its validity.
Refunds go back to the original form of payment and to the person who paid, and Oman Air processes an approved refund within 45 days of the request.
Two situations override your fare’s normal rules:
- Oman Air cancels or reschedules: you can take the next available flight, reroute at no extra cost, or claim a full refund, on every fare, including Super Saver. This is the one case the cheapest fare becomes fully refundable.
- You no-show: miss the flight without cancelling first and the fare is forfeited on every bundle. Only government taxes may be reclaimable, and only if the taxing authority returns them.
Adding Bags, Seats or Meals After Booking
You don’t have to buy a pricier bundle to get one more bag. Any fare, including Super Saver, lets you add checked baggage, seat selection or meals through Manage Booking after you book.
Adding them online in advance costs less than paying at the airport, so prepay rather than turning up with an extra bag.
There is no one-click swap from one bundle to another, and bundles can’t be customised. So when you book, compare the cost of buying add-ons against simply choosing the next fare up.
How to Cancel or Change Online
Most changes and cancellations are self-service on omanair.com:
- Open Manage Booking and enter your booking reference and last name.
- Select the flight you want to change or cancel.
- To change, choose the new flight; any change fee and fare difference appear before you confirm.
- To cancel, submit the Oman Air Refund Form; an eligible refund returns to your original payment within 45 days.

Travelling light on a fixed date? Super Saver is cheapest, though you pay to add a bag and can’t get a refund. Want a free bag and the option to cancel? Comfort is the safe middle.

Do infants and children pay the same fares?
No. An infant under 2 travels on an adult’s lap at a reduced infant fare without a seat; a child aged 2 to 11 pays a child fare, as does an infant given their own seat. Infants get an extra 10 kg of checked baggage on every fare except Super Saver.
Can I earn and use Sindbad miles on any fare?
Yes, every bundle earns Sindbad miles. Sindbad is revenue-based, so you earn on what you spend (4 miles per US dollar as a Blue member, 5 as Silver and 6 as Gold). Miles upgrades, though, aren’t available on Super Saver or Business Comfort fares.
