PIA reaches Islamabad and Lahore without a change of plane. Karachi and Quetta need a PIA connection at Islamabad, at roughly the same fare. Other Pakistani cities need a different airline for the London leg.

Is PIA really flying daily between London and Pakistan?

Yes, in both directions. From 27 October 2026 there is one PIA departure from London every day of the week, and one back from Pakistan every day. The catch is that London gets a daily flight while neither Pakistani city does: five departures a week go to Islamabad and two go to Lahore.

Which days does PIA fly from London to Lahore?

Thursday and Sunday. Coming back, Lahore to London runs on Monday and Friday. So you cannot fly out and home on the same day of the week, and a Lahore trip is built around those four days.

Can I fly out and back on the same day of the week?

No, on either route. London to Islamabad goes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, while Islamabad to London comes back on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The aircraft stays overnight in Pakistan, so the return day is always the day after the outbound.

Does PIA fly from London to Karachi?

Not without a change. PIA connects through Islamabad, and the Islamabad to Karachi leg runs every day, so the wait is short. The whole journey stays on one airline and one ticket.

Which London airport does PIA use?

Heathrow. PIA does not fly from Gatwick, Stansted or Luton, so a London link on this page covers every London airport but only Heathrow has PIA flights. See the Heathrow airport guide for terminals and transport.

How these figures were produced

Operating days were read from live bookable inventory for every day from 9 to 15 November 2026, in both directions, filtered to PIA nonstop flights. That week was chosen because it sits clear of the season changeover.
Wego’s published timetable feed stops at 25 October 2026 and does not yet carry the winter season, so it could not be used for the new pattern. It was used to establish the current four-a-week schedule.
Fares are the lowest all-PIA return for one adult in economy, and are “from” snapshots rather than quotes. Islamabad, Karachi and Quetta were priced 10 to 24 November 2026. Lahore was priced 12 to 27 November 2026, because its operating days do not allow the same pair of dates.
The four fares are not a like-for-like ranking and are not presented as one. Two of them come from a different date window, and the spread across all four is under two per cent.
