What is Qatar Airways’ Student Club?
Student Club is a sub-programme of Privilege Club that hands enrolled students promo codes for up to four discounted flight bookings. The first code yields 10 % off the base fare; once the first trip is flown, the second code unlocks 15 % off, and after the second trip you receive two further codes, each good for 20 % off.
Because the discount is on the base fare only, taxes and surcharges still apply. Codes must be entered on qatarairways.com during checkout, but you can comparison-shop dates first on Wego’s flexible-calendar view before pasting the code at Qatar Airways payment.

Who is eligible for the Qatar Airways student discount?
- Age: 18 to 30, until 23:59 on the eve of your 31st birthday
- Status: enrolled in an accredited college or university (online-only degrees excluded).
- Proof: digital Student Club card plus one of the following at check-in: student ID, acceptance letter, or student visa
- Residency: open to students worldwide, but GCC/MENA residents enjoy region-specific marketing and Arabic-language support on both Qatar Airways and Wego.

- Register for a free Privilege Club account.
- Navigate to Student Club > Join Now and fill the enrolment form (include expected graduation date).
- Upload student ID or acceptance letter.
- Receive your first promo code by email within minutes and add your digital Student Club card to Apple/Google Wallet.

Managing companions

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I re-use my promo code after changing travel dates?
Yes. As long as you stay within the fare family’s rules, date changes do not invalidate the Student Club discount. The promo code remains tied to that booking reference; you’ll only pay any fare difference if the new date is more expensive.
What happens if I turn 31 before completing all four discounted tickets?
Your Student Club membership converts to a standard Privilege Club account at 00:00 the day after your 31st birthday. Any promo codes already issued remain valid as long as travel begins before that date.
Do companions receive the extra baggage allowance and Super Wi-Fi voucher?
No. Companions enjoy the fare discount and one complimentary date change, but the extra 10 kg/1-piece baggage and Super Wi-Fi voucher are reserved for the Student Member, unless a companion’s own Privilege Club tier already grants those perks.
Is the student discount valid on codeshare or interline flights?
No. Student Club promo codes apply only to Qatar Airways-operated sectors. Codeshare and interline flights marketed by Qatar Airways but operated by partner airlines are excluded.
Will I still earn Avios on a discounted Student Club ticket?
Yes. Avios accrue at the normal rate for the ticket’s fare class, as shown in the “My Calculator” tool on your Privilege Club dashboard. The Student Club discount affects only the price you pay, not mileage earnings.
How long can I stay in Student Club, and what happens after I graduate?
Membership lasts until the earliest of (a) six months after your declared graduation date, (b) your 31st birthday, or (c) seven years after initial enrolment. When any of these limits is reached, your account automatically converts to a regular Privilege Club membership; all earned Avios remain intact.
