What is Qatar Grand Prix 2025?

Twenty of the world’s top drivers will compete in this exhilarating race in Qatar, pushing both themselves and their cars to the limit in a bid to complete all laps as quickly as possible. The three fastest drivers will be crowned winners and take their places on the podium.

Before the final race, there will be two practice sessions, giving drivers the chance to fine-tune their cars and strategies. The qualifying session will then determine the starting positions for the sprint session, a 100 KM race that will further test the drivers’ skills and endurance. The final results of the sprint session will determine the starting positions for the main race, adding to the excitement and unpredictability of the event.

Dates & schedule

This year, the Qatar Grand Prix will occur from 27 November to 30 November 2025. The following is the official schedule:

  • Practice 1: 28 November (19:00 to 20:00)
  • Sprint Qualifying: 28 November (23:00 to 23:44)
  • Sprint: 29 November (19:30 to 20:30)
  • Qualifying: 29 November (23:30 to 00:30)
  • Race: 30 November (21:30)

Location

The 2025 Qatar Grand Prix will be held at the Lusail International Circuit in Lusail, a city located north of the capital, Doha. Fans can travel to the venue by taxi or ride-hailing services like Uber, or they can drive their own car to the site. However, due to limited parking spaces, carpooling is strongly advised. Events

Events for 2025 are not yet available, but here is what took place the previous year. The Qatar Grand Prix of the previous year was packed with thrilling activities for both lifelong fans and intrigued first-time onlookers.

The Lusail International Circuit revealed that the F1 excitement wasn’t limited to adults but was open to all ages! Children under the age of 12 were granted free admission to Lusail’s Hazm district, provided they were accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian. Various immersive and enjoyable activities were available, including laser games, kart racing, AI photo booths, face painting, and more.

Avid fans of the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, F1 Academy, and FIA Formula 2 Championship had the opportunity to watch live practice sessions.

Other heart-racing activities awaited racing enthusiasts, such as the Pit Stop Challenge, where attendees could experience the ultimate F1 thrill with a race car simulator and even try their hand at changing race car tires.

Of course, the Qatar Grand Prix would not have been complete without the chance to meet favorite racers. For the first time ever in Qatar, fans could meet and greet their F1 heroes through the F1 Fan Forum.

  • 3-day session (Friday to Sunday): Tickets ranged in price from EUR 4130.32 to EUR 23668.22 (QAR 17,461.28 to QAR 100,059.41) across multiple grandstands.
  • 4-day session (Thursday to Sunday): Tickets ranged in price from EUR 687.67 to EUR 1204.07 (QAR 2907.18 to QAR 5090.30) across multiple grandstands.
