A Qatar health card is a government-provided card from Hamad Health Corporation, akin to a driver’s license. It allows easy access to services at any of Hamad Medical Corporation’s healthcare facilities or hospitals. 

The card contains the owner’s ID number, nationality, photo and date of issue. It is available to all Qatari residents.

  • Visit the nearest Primary Health Care Centre
  • Fill in the healthcare application form

Online process

You can apply for a health card in Qatar application online through the Nar’aakom mobile application by following the steps given below:

  • Download the Nar’aakom mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store
  • Open the app after downloading it, and then select the preferred language.
  • Sign up or log in using National Authentication System (Tawtheeq)
    • Select “E-Services” and then select “Apply for Health Card.”
      • Fill up all the required details
      • Upload the required documents
      • Follow further instructions

  • Health cards can only be issued in the healthcare office during morning working hours, which are from 7.30 am to 2 pm.
