The ambitious Qiddiya Project by the Saudi Arabian Government is set to unveil another groundbreaking development in Qiddiya City: the Performance Arts Center reports Wego.

The Qiddiya Investment Company has announced the establishment of the Performance Arts Center, which will feature three theatres with a combined capacity of 3,000 people. This cultural icon is expected to attract up to 800,000 visitors annually.

Beyond serving as a venue for artistic exhibitions, the Performance Arts Center aims to nurture young talents, fostering the next generation of writers, actors, and producers. The center will also include a variety of retail, entertainment, and dining options for visitors.

The center is projected to host around 260 indoor and outdoor performances each year. One of the unique features is a 500-seat cantilevered amphitheatre suspended at a height, offering views of the city’s lower plateau. These theatres will incorporate modern technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence.

Additionally, the center is expected to create career opportunities in over 100 creative and cultural fields, contributing to the economic growth of the country.
