Macron is the President’s post, Elysee the France and Saudi joint statement, Qiddiya the developer’s release. Yes means the source states it outright. Aside means it is mentioned in passing, not as part of the project. No means it is not stated at all.
Qiddiya calls the agreement a Memorandum of Understanding, the start of joint work to define the scope, subject to the applicable approvals in France. Its release names no site, no amount and no park count.
The Cergy-Pontoise location and the 6 billion euro figure come from the France and Saudi joint statement. The 22,000 jobs figure appears only in President Macron’s post. Neither announced park has an opening date.
Charles de Gaulle is the closest Paris airport to Cergy-Pontoise at 35 km straight line, against 42 km for Orly and 46 km for Beauvais.

Is the Paris theme park confirmed?
Not as a build. France and Saudi Arabia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 24 August 2026 to explore it, subject to approvals in France.
Will it be a Dragon Ball park?
No official source says so. The only Dragon Ball park is at Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia, announced in March 2024 with Toei Animation.
When would either announced park open?
No official source has published an opening or construction date for either.
