Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has confirmed it will resume its suspended Gulf routes in early July 2026, after a US-Iran agreement ended months of conflict and began reopening Middle East airspace. Until those restart dates, Doha and Dubai flights stay suspended, and 12 Africa and Europe routes remain grounded for separate cost reasons.
Regional airspace is reopening but remains sensitive. EASA’s conflict-zone bulletin for the Middle East and Persian Gulf (CZIB 2026-03-R12) was valid until 24 June 2026 and may be extended again.

The Doha and Dubai suspensions followed Middle East airspace closures earlier in 2026 and were extended several times before the July restart was confirmed.
The Africa and Europe cuts are separate, tied to high jet fuel prices and weaker demand rather than any airport closure. RAM says it is waiting to gauge the effect of the US-Iran deal on fuel costs before restoring them.
What’s Still Operating
Most of Royal Air Maroc’s network is operating, including domestic Morocco, transatlantic and core Europe and Africa flights. Its official route map shows broad service from Casablanca and other Moroccan airports.

Rebooking and Refund Options
Royal Air Maroc says passengers whose flights are cancelled should not go to the airport. Instead, contact the original point of sale or the Royal Air Maroc call centre to check available options.
