Royal Jordanian fares right now
Wego pulled cheapest return economy fares on fully Royal Jordanian-operated itineraries out of Amman, for departures on 22 September 2026 returning 29 September 2026, sampled 11 August 2026, in US dollars. Every route below is nonstop in both directions.
The London figure is for Amman to Stansted, which Royal Jordanian added in March 2026 alongside its long-running Heathrow service. Cheaper London itineraries in the same search paired an RJ sector with a low-cost carrier, so they are excluded here as not fully RJ-operated.
Bangkok and Paris are absent for the same reason. The sampled dates returned no end-to-end RJ itinerary, though the airline flies both nonstop from Amman and is currently the only carrier doing so on either route.
Fares move constantly, so check current prices on Wego for your own dates, whether to Jeddah, Dubai, Cairo or New York.
Fleet and aircraft
Royal Jordanian is in the closing phase of a fleet renewal it said in April 2026 had reached roughly 80%, with completion due by the end of this year. Seven aircraft arrived in the first half of 2026 alone, taking deliveries over the preceding twelve months to 19.
- Long-haul: the Boeing 787. The first 787-9 arrived on 1 April 2026 and entered service six days later on Amman to London Heathrow.
- Medium-haul: the Airbus A320neo family, replacing older narrowbodies.
- Regional: increasingly the Embraer E195-E2.
The airline targets 41 aircraft by the end of 2028 and 52 by 2032.
Hubs, network and route map
Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) is Royal Jordanian’s only connecting hub, feeding traffic between Europe, the Gulf, North Africa, South Asia and North America.
Not every route hangs off it. A separate point-to-point network runs out of Amman Civil Airport (ADJ), covering Antalya, Aqaba, Hurghada, Istanbul, Sharm el Sheikh and Trabzon.
Eight destinations joined in the first half of 2026: Misrata, Munich, Hamburg, Sharjah, Alexandria, Vienna, Tashkent and Dallas Fort Worth. Dallas became the fifth US destination, and Amman to Delhi is filed to resume on 15 September 2026 at four flights a week.
Loyalty programme
Royal Jordanian’s frequent flyer programme is Royal Club, previously branded Royal Plus. It runs through four bird-themed tiers: Bronze Sunbird, Silver Jay, Gold Sparrow and Platinum Hawk, each step adding mileage earning plus benefits such as priority check-in and extra baggage.
The airline has been a full oneworld member since 2007, so members earn and redeem across partners including American Airlines, British Airways and Qatar Airways. You can also credit RJ flights to a partner programme instead, worth considering if most of your flying sits elsewhere in the alliance.
Baggage allowance and check-in
Checked baggage depends on cabin and fare brand rather than a single rule.
No single piece may exceed 32kg or 158cm in combined dimensions on any fare. Cabin baggage is one 7kg piece in Economy and two in Crown Class, reduced to one on Embraer aircraft.
