Saudi Arabia is shortening the Nusuk Hajj payment window to just six hours from Friday, 15 May 2026, as the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah moves into the second phase of domestic booking payments.
Key dates to know:
- Until Thursday, 14 May 2026 (27 Dhul Qada): 72 hours to pay after booking
- From Friday, 15 May 2026 (28 Dhul Qada): Payment window cut to 6 hours
- After the deadline: Reservation is cancelled automatically and the seat is released
From 15 May onwards, any unpaid reservation will be automatically cancelled once the six-hour window expires, freeing the seat for the next applicant.
The Ministry says the tighter window is designed to maximise seat availability and improve allocation efficiency as the season approaches.
How to pay through Nusuk and SADAD
All Hajj package payments are processed through the SADAD system, the Kingdom’s national bill payment platform, after booking via Nusuk.
To complete payment:
- Log in to the Nusuk Hajj application or website
- Select your reserved package
- Follow the SADAD invoice instructions through your bank app or ATM.
Once payment clears, your booking is confirmed and your permit will be issued ahead of the pilgrimage.

Cancellation and refund rules
Cancellations are permitted without deduction before the permit is issued, up to Shawal 30, 1447 AH, according to the Pilgrims Experience Program.
After that date, specific refund policies and deductions apply depending on when you cancel and whether your permit has been issued.
From 1 Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH until the Nusuk platform closes for the season, no refunds will be granted for any cancellation.
