Can I travel to Saudi Arabia without a visa?

GCC countries and French nationals who hold diplomatic or official passports can enter Saudi Arabia without a visa or are exempt from getting a visa. If you are not one of the nationals of the eligible countries for visa-free entry, you can obtain either a visa on arrival or an e-visa for Saudi Arabia.

  2. Kuwait
  3. Oman
  4. Qatar
  5. The United Arab Emirates
  6. France, for people who hold diplomatic or official passports.

The GCC countries above are eligible to enter Saudi Arabia without a visa, and they only need to present their national ID upon their arrival in Saudi Arabia.

However, third-country nationals who live in one of the GCC countries and holders of a residence permit must get a visa to Saudi Arabia unless they have a Saudi passport.
